Genesis 9:13
ನನ್ನ ಬಿಲ್ಲು ಮೇಘಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅದು ನನಗೂ ಭೂಮಿಗೂ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಗುರುತಾಗಿರುವದು.

ಮಳೆ ಬೀಳುವ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇಘ ದೊಳಗೆ ಬಿಲ್ಲು ಹೇಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅದರ ಸುತ್ತ ಆ ಪ್ರಕಾಶವು ಕಾಣಿಸಿತು. ಇದೇ ಕರ್ತನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ರೂಪದ ದರ್ಶನವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ನನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಕೆಳಗೆಮಾಡಿ ಬಿದ್ದೆನು. ಆಗ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಒಬ್ಬನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದೆನು.

ಮೇಘವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ನಾದ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬ ದೂತನು ಪರಲೋಕ ದಿಂದ ಇಳಿದು ಬರುವದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕಂಡೆನು. ಅವನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಳೆ ಬಿಲ್ಲು ಇತ್ತು; ಅವನ ಮುಖವು ಸೂರ್ಯನಂತಿತ್ತು; ಅವನ ಪಾದಗಳು ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಕಂಬಗಳಂತಿದ್ದವು;

ಕೂತಿದ್ದಾತನು ಸೂರ್ಯಕಾಂತ ಪದ್ಮರಾಗ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳಂತೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು; ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಪಚ್ಚೆಯಂತೆ ತೋರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮಳೆ ಬಿಲ್ಲು ಇತ್ತು.
