Genesis 31:46
ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೆ (ಕಡೆಯವರಿಗೆ)--ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಅವರು ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಒಂದು ಕುಪ್ಪೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಆ ಕುಪ್ಪೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರು ಊಟಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಆದರೆ ಯಾರ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿಯೋ ಅವರು ಬದುಕದೆ ಇರಲಿ; ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನದೇನಾದರೂ ಇದ್ದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರ ಮುಂದೆ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿ ಅದನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೋ ಅಂದನು. ಆದರೆ ರಾಹೇಲಳು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕದ್ದು ಕೊಂಡದ್ದು ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
ಆದಿಕಾಂಡ 31:37
ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹುಡಿಕಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಏನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡಿ? ನನಗೂ ನಿನಗೂ ಸಹೋದರರಾಗಿರುವವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡು. ಅವರೇ ನಮ್ಮಿಬ್ಬರ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಲಿ.

ಯಾಕೋ ಬನು ಆ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಯನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವದಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನು ಕರೇ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಂದು ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಇಳುಕೊಂಡರು.

ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಯೊರ್ದನಿನಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದನು.

ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಲ್ಲು ಕುಪ್ಪೆ ಕೂಡಿಸಿದರು. ಅದು ಈ ದಿನದ ವರೆಗೂ ಇದೆ. ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಕೋಪದ ಉರಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತಿರುಗಿದನು; ಆದದರಿಂದ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳವು ಈ ವರೆಗೂ ಆಕೋರಿನ ತಗ್ಗೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವದು.
