Genesis 21:21
ಅವನು ಪಾರಾನಿನ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಯು ಅವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಿಂದ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡಳು.

ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ತಿಮ್ನಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಕುರ್ಮಾತೆಯರೊಳಗೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದೆನು. ಈಗ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನನಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
ಅರಣ್ಯಕಾಂಡ 13:26
ಅವರು ಹೋಗಿ ಮೋಶೆ ಆರೋನರ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸಭೆಯ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಪಾರಾನ್ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕಾದೇಶಿಗೂ ಬಂದು ಅವರಿಗೂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸಭೆಗೂ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿ ಆ ದೇಶದ ಫಲಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು.
ಅರಣ್ಯಕಾಂಡ 13:3
ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಕರ್ತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯಂತೆ ಪಾರಾನ್ ಅರಣ್ಯ ದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

ತರುವಾಯ ಜನರು ಹಚೇರೋತಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಪಾರಾನ್ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳುಕೊಂಡರು.

ಏಸಾವನು ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಹಿತ್ತಿಯನಾದ ಬೇರಿಯನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಯೆಹೂದೀತ ಳನ್ನೂ ಹಿತ್ತಿಯನಾದ ಏಲೋನನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಬಾಸೆಮತಳನ್ನೂ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರನ್ನಾಗಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡನು.

ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡು ವವನು ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಮದುವೆಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಡದೆ ಇರುವವನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
