ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಎದ್ದು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನೂ ನೀರಿನ ತಿತ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹಾಗರಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಕೆಯ ಹೆಗಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಿಸಿ ಆ ಹುಡುಗನ ಸಂಗಡ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಆಕೆಯು ಹೋಗಿ ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬದ ಕಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುವವ ಳಾದಳು.
ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 17:1
ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಭೆಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕರ್ತನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರವರು ಹೊರ ಡುವ ಕ್ರಮದಂತೆ ಸೀನ್ ಅರಣ್ಯದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ರೆಫೀದೀಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಗಿದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕುಡಿಯು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀರು ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
