Exodus 23:18
ನನಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವ ಯಜ್ಞದ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಹುಳಿ ಇರುವ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಬಾರದು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನನಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಯಜ್ಞದ ಕೊಬ್ಬು ಬೆಳಗಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ಇರಬಾರದು.

ಆ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಆ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು. ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಟ್ಟು ಅದನ್ನೂ ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗ ಳನ್ನೂ ಕಹಿಯಾದ ಪಲ್ಯಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು.

ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಗಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ಏನನ್ನೂ ಉಳಿಸಬಾರದು. ಬೆಳಗಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದದ್ದನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಬೇಕು.
