ಇಬ್ಬರು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಮೂವರು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಮಾತಿನಿಂದ ಆ ಸಾಯತಕ್ಕವನು ಸಾಯಬೇಕು; ಒಬ್ಬನ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಮಾತಿನಿಂದ ಅವನು ಸಾಯಬಾರದು.

ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವದು ಇದು ಮೂರನೆಯ ಸಾರಿ. ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮೂವರ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಮಾತೂ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತವಾಗಬೇಕು.

(ಸಭೆಯ) ಹಿರಿಯನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ದೂರು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮೂವರು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿದ್ದ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ.
