ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅರಸನು ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಹಿಲ್ಕೀಯನಿಗೂ ಶಾಫಾನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹೀಕಾಮ್ನಿಗೂ ವಿಾಕಾ ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಕ್ಬೋರ್ನಿಗೂ ಲೇಖಕನಾದ ಶಾಫಾನನಿಗೂ ಅರಸನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಅಸಾಯನಿಗೂ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಗೋಣೀತಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡ ಮನೆವಾರ್ತೆಯವ ನಾದ ಎಲ್ಯಾಕೀಮನನ್ನೂ ಲೇಖಕನಾದ ಶೆಬ್ನನನ್ನೂ ಯಾಜಕರ ಹಿರಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಆಮೋಚನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆಶಾಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.

ಲೇಖಕನಾದ ಶಾಫಾನನು ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅರಸನಿಗೆಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೊರಕಿದ ಹಣವನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡು ವವರ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಕೆಲಸಗಾರರ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಅಂದನು.

ಅರಸನು ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ದಾಗ ತನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಿದುಕೊಂಡನು.
ಯೆಶಾಯ 37:1
ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗ ಳನ್ನು ಹರಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಗೋಣೀತಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು.

ಆದರೆ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಯಾಕೀಮನು ಐಗು ಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಜನರನ್ನು, ಅಂದರೆ ಅಕ್ಬೋರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಲ್ನಾಥಾನನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೆಲವರನ್ನೂ ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
