2 Kings 11:18
ದೇಶದ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಬಾಳನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಕ್ಕು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿಹಾಕಿ ಅವನ ಬಲಿಪೀಠಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಿಗ್ರಹ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತುಂಡುತುಂಡಾಗಿ ಒಡೆದು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬಲಿಪೀಠಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಾಳನ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಮತ್ತಾನನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾಜಕನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿ ದನು.

ಅವನು ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿ, ವಿಗ್ರಹ ಗಳನ್ನು ಒಡೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟು, ತೋಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡಿದುಹಾಕಿ, ಮೋಶೆಯು ಮಾಡಿದ ತಾಮ್ರದ ಸರ್ಪವನ್ನು ಚೂರುಚೂರು ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಆ ದಿವಸಗಳ ವರೆಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಧೂಪಸುಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಅದನ್ನು ತಾಮ್ರದ ತುಂಡು ಎಂದು ಅವನು ಕರೆದನು.

ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾವಲು ಗಾರನೂ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಬಾಳನ ಮನೆಯ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಬಾಳನ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ವಿಗ್ರಹವನ್ನು ತಂದು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
1 ಅರಸುಗಳು 18:40
ಆಗ ಎಲೀಯನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ಬಾಳನ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯಿರಿ; ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಇರಲಿ ಅಂದನು. ಇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿ ದರು; ಎಲೀಯನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೀಷೋನ್ಹಳ್ಳದ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡುಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಿದನು.
ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶಕಾಂಡ 13:5
ಅಂಥ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯನ್ನಾದರೂ ಕನಸು ಕಾಣುವವನ ನ್ನಾದರೂ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಬೇಕು; ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದೊಳ ಗಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿ, ದಾಸತ್ವದ ಮನೆ ಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಿದ ನಿನ್ನ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರಿಂದ ತಿರುಗುವಂತೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನಗೆ ನಡೆಯಲು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಮಾರ್ಗ ದಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ದೂಡುವಂತೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಹೀಗೆ ನೀನು ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಧ್ಯದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಬೇಕು.
ಜೆಕರ್ಯ 13:2
ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು--ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗುವದೇನಂದರೆ, ನಾನು ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳ ಹೆಸರುಗಳನ್ನು ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕಡಿದುಬಿಡುವೆನು; ಅವು ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅಶುದ್ಧ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನೂ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಿ ಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ.

ಆತನು ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ವಾಗಿ ಇಲ್ಲದಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿಬಿಡುವನು.

ಆಗ ಅವರು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಕ್ಕು ಅರಸನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಕುಮಾರರನ್ನೂ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರನ್ನೂ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಕುಮಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕ್ಕವ ನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವಾಹಾಜನು ಹೊರತು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕುಮಾರರು ಯಾರೂ ಬಿಡಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಅರ ಸನು--ಬಾಳನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ವಿಗ್ರಹದ ತೋಪುಗಳಿ ಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಆಕಾಶದ ಸೈನ್ಯಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಮಾಡ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಯಾಜಕ ನಾದ ಹಿಲ್ಕೀಯನಿಗೂ ಎರಡನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಯಾಜಕ ರಿಗೂ ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರಿಗೂ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು ಮತ್ತು ಅವನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಹೊರಗೆ ಕಿದ್ರೋನ್ ಹೊಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಡಿಸಿ ಅವುಗಳ ಬೂದಿ ಯನ್ನು ಬೇತೇಲಿಗೆ ತರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

ಆಗ ಯೇಹುವು ತನ್ನ ಅಧಿಪತಿ ಯಾದ ಬಿದ್ಕರನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಅವನನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಇಜ್ರೇಲ್ಯನಾದ ನಾಬೋತನ ಪಾಲಾಗಿರುವ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿಬಿಡು.
ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶಕಾಂಡ 13:9
ಅವನನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕು. ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮೊದಲು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈ, ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರ ಕೈ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಬೇಕು.
ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 32:20
ಅವರು ಮಾಡಿದ ಕರುವನ್ನು ಅವನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅದನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಟ್ಟು ಪುಡಿಯಾಗುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಅರೆಸಿ ನೀರಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಚೆಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ನೀರನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಕುಡಿಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
