1 And Solomon began to build the house of Jehovah at Jerusalem on mount Moriah, where he appeared to David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.ಆಗ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಸ್ಥಳವಾದ ಮೋರೀಯಾ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದ ಯೆಬೂಸಿ ಯನಾದ ಒರ್ನಾನನ ಕಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದನು.

2 And he began to build on the second of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಆಳಿಕೆಯ ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ವರುಷದ ಎರಡನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಎರಡನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದನು.

3 And this was Solomon's foundation for the construction of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was sixty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.ದೇವರ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಹಾಕಿ ಸಿದ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರಗಳು ಏನಂದರೆ ಮೊದಲಿನ ಅಳತೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಅದರ ಉದ್ದ ಅರವತ್ತು ಮೊಳವು ಅಗಲ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮೊಳವು.

4 And the porch which was in front was twenty cubits in length, in front of the house broadways, and the height was a hundred and twenty; and he overlaid it within with pure gold.ಮುಂದೆ ಇರುವ ದ್ವಾರಾಂಗಳ ಆಲಯದ ಅಗಲದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮೊಳ ಉದ್ದವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಮತ್ತು ನೂರ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮೊಳ ಎತ್ತರವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಒಳಗಡೆ ಶುದ್ಧ ಬಂಗಾರದಿಂದ ಹೊದಿಗಿಸಿದನು.

5 And the greater house he boarded with cypress-wood, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set on it palm-trees and chains.ಅವನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ತುರಾಯಿ ಮರಗಳಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧ ಬಂಗಾರದಿಂದ ಹೊದಿಸಿ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಖರ್ಜೂರದ ಗಿಡಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸರಪಣಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೆತ್ತಿಸಿ ದನು.

6 And he overlaid the house with precious stones for beauty; and the gold was gold of Parvaim.ಸೌಂದರ್ಯದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ವಾದ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳಿಂದ ಆ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿದನು. ಅದರ ಬಂಗಾರವು ಪರ್ವಯಿಮಿನ ಬಂಗಾರವು.

7 And he covered the house, the beams, the threshold, and its walls, and its doors with gold, and engraved cherubim on the walls.ಆಲಯದ ತೊಲೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸ್ತಂಭಗಳನ್ನೂ ಗೋಡೆ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಾಗಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವನು ಬಂಗಾರದಿಂದ ಹೊದಿಸಿ ಗೋಡೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆರೂಬಿಗಳ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನ್ನು ಕೆತ್ತಿಸಿದನು.

8 And he made the house of the most holy place, the length of which was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and its breadth twenty cubits; and he covered it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅತಿಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು; ಅದರ ಉದ್ದವು ಆಲಯದ ಅಗಲದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮೊಳ; ಅಗಲ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮೊಳವಾಗಿ ಇತ್ತು. ಅವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಆರು ನೂರು ತಲಾಂತುಗಳ ಶುದ್ಧ ಬಂಗಾರದಿಂದ ಹೊದಿಸಿದನು.

9 And the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. And he covered the upper chambers with gold.ಅದರ ಮೊಳೆ ಗಳು ಐವತ್ತು ಶೇಕೆಲುಗಳ ತೂಕ ಬಂಗಾರದ್ದಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮೇಲಿನ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಂಗಾರದಿಂದ ಹೊದಿಸಿದನು.

10 And in the house of the most holy place he made two cherubim of image work, and they overlaid them with gold.ಅತಿಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಚಿತ್ರ ಕೆಲಸವಾದ ಎರಡು ಕೆರೂಬಿಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆ ಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಬಂಗಾರದಿಂದ ಹೊದಿಸಿದನು.

11 And the wings of the cherubim were twenty cubits long: one wing of five cubits touched the wall of the house; and the other wing of five cubits touched the wing of the other cherub.ಕೆರೂಬಿಗಳ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮೊಳ ಉದ್ದವಾಗಿ ದ್ದವು. ಒಂದು ರೆಕ್ಕೆಯು ಐದು ಮೊಳವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಆಲ ಯದ ಗೋಡೆಯ ವರೆಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು; ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ರೆಕ್ಕೆ ಐದು ಮೊಳವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಕೆರೂಬಿಯ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಯ ವರೆಗೂ ಮುಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು.

12 And the wing of the other cherub of five cubits touched the wall of the house; and the other wing was five cubits joining the wing of the other cherub.ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಕೆರೂಬಿಯ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಯು ಐದು ಮೊಳವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಆಲಯದ ಗೋಡೆಯ ವರೆಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು; ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ರೆಕ್ಕೆಯು ಐದು ಮೊಳವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಬೇರೆ ಇರುವ ಕೆರೂಬಿಯ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗೆ ಕೂಡಿ ಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು.

13 The wings of these cherubim spread forth were twenty cubits; and they stood on their feet, and their faces were toward the house.ಈ ಕೆರೂಬಿಗಳ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮೊಳಗಳ ವರೆಗೆ ಚಾಚಿಕೊಂಡವು; ಅವು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಾಲುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತವು; ಅವುಗಳ ಮುಖ ಗಳು ಒಳಪಾರ್ಶ್ವವಾಗಿದ್ದವು.

14 And he made the veil of blue, and purple, and crimson, and byssus, and made cherubim upon it.ತೆರೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಲ ಧೂಮ್ರ ರಕ್ತವರ್ಣಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ನಯವಾದ ನಾರಿನ ವಸ್ತ್ರದಿಂದಲೂ ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆರೂಬಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು.

15 And before the house he made two pillars thirty-five cubits long; and the capital that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಆಲಯದ ಮುಂದೆ ಮೂವ ತ್ತೈದು ಮೊಳ ಉದ್ದವಾದ ಎರಡು ಸ್ತಂಭಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು; ಒಂದೊಂದರ ತುದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಐದು ಮೊಳ ಉದ್ದ ಬೋದಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟನು.

16 And he made chains [as] in the oracle, and he put them on the top of the pillars; and he made a hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.ಅವನು ದೈವೋಕ್ತಿಯ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಸರಪಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಸ್ತಂಭಗಳ ತುದಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟು ನೂರು ದಾಳಿಂಬರ ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಸರಪಣಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಿಸಿದನು.

17 And he set up the pillars in front of the temple, one on the right hand and the other on the left; and he called the name of that on the right Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.ಮಂದಿರದ ಮುಂದೆ ಆ ಸ್ತಂಭಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದನ್ನು ಬಲಪಾರ್ಶ್ವದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಒಂದನ್ನು ಎಡ ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದನು; ಬಲಪಾರ್ಶ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದ ಸ್ತಂಭಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾಕೀನ್‌ ಎಂದೂ ಎಡಪಾರ್ಶ್ವದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಸ್ತಂಭಕ್ಕೆ ಬೋವಜ್‌ ಎಂದೂ ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು.
