ಈಗ ಇಗೋ, ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್‌ ಮೋವಾಬ್‌, ಸೇಯಾರ್‌ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ನೋಡು; ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶ ದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಬರುವಾಗ ಅವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಲು ನೀನು ಇವರಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಡದೆ ಇದ್ದದ ರಿಂದ ಇವರು ತೊಲಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡದೆ ಹೋದರು.

ನೀನು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ--ನೀವು ಸೇಯಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ ಏಸಾವನ ಕುಮಾರರ ಮೇರೆಯನ್ನು ದಾಟಬೇಕು; ಅವರು ನಿಮಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವರು; ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಬಹಳ ಜಾಗ್ರತೆಯಿಂದಿರಬೇಕು.

ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ--ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಉಪದ್ರಕೊಡಬೇಡ; ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಜಗಳವಾಡಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಬೇಡ; ನಾನು ಅವರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾನು ಆರ್‌ ಅನ್ನು ಲೋಟನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನಲ್ಲವೇ ಅಂದನು.

1 ಇದರ ತರುವಾಯ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ, ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯರ ಕೊಡ ಇತರರೂ ಯೆಹೋ ಷಾಫಾಟನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಲು ಬಂದರು.

ಅವರು ಹಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದಾಗಲೇ ಕರ್ತನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದ ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್‌, ಮೋವಾಬ್‌, ಸೇಯಾರ್‌ ಪರ್ವತಗಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಹೊಡೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು.
