Psalm 125
1 ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸವಿಡುವವರು ಚೀಯೋನ್‌ ಪರ್ವತದ ಹಾಗಿ ದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅದು ಕದಲದೆ ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಇರುವದು.
2 ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳಿರುವಂತೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಈಗಿನಿಂದ ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ತನ್ನ ಜನರ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ.
3 ನೀತಿವಂತರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಅನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಚದ ಹಾಗೆ, ದುಷ್ಟನ ಕೋಲು ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಿರುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
4 ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವರಿಗೂ ಯಥಾರ್ಥ ಹೃದಯವುಳ್ಳವರಿಗೂ ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡು.
5 ಆದರೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಡೊಂಕು ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರುಗುವವರನ್ನು ದುಷ್ಟತನ ಮಾಡುವವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೋಗ ಮಾಡುವನು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ವಿರುವದು.

2 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
3 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.
4 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.
5 Do good, O Lord, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.
6 As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.

A Song of degrees.
1 ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ಆತನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ಧನ್ಯನು.
Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways.
2 ಹೀಗಾದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳ ಕಷ್ಟಾರ್ಜಿತವನ್ನು ನೀನು ಊಟಮಾಡಿ ಸಂತೋಷ ವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿರುವಿ, ನಿನಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇಯದಾಗುವದು.
For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
3 ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯು ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಫಲಭರಿತ ವಾದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇಗಿಡದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಜಿನ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಎಣ್ಣೇಮರಗಳ ಸಸಿಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಇರುವರು.
Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
4 ಇಗೋ, ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವನು.
Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.
5 ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಚೀಯೋನಿನೊಳಗಿಂದ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವನು; ನಿನ್ನ ಜೀವನದ ದಿವಸಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೀನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ನೋಡುವಿ.
The Lord shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
6 ಹೌದು, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ವನ್ನೂ ನೀನು ನೋಡುವಿ.
Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children, and peace upon Israel.
