Psalm 105
1 ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಉಪಕಾರ ಸ್ತುತಿಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಆತನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿರಿ; ಜನ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಮಾಡಿರಿ.
2 ಆತನಿಗೆ ಹಾಡಿರಿ, ಆತನಿಗೆ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ ಹಾಡಿರಿ; ಆತನ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿರಿ.
3 ಆತನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ನಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವರ ಹೃದಯವು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಲಿ.
4 ಕರ್ತನನ್ನೂ ಆತನ ಬಲವನ್ನೂ ಹುಡುಕಿರಿ. ಆತನ ಮುಖ ವನ್ನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಹುಡುಕಿರಿ.
5 ಆತನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಆತನ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನೂ ಆತನ ಬಾಯಿಯ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ;
6 ಆತನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಸಂತತಿಯೇ, ಆತನು ಆದುಕೊಂಡ ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ,
7 ಆತನೇ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆತನ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವೆ.
8 ತನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ಸಾವಿರ ತಲಾಂತರಗ ಳಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ತನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನೂ
9 ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾಡಿದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ಇಸಾಕನಿಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟ ಆಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ಆತನು ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
10 ಅದನ್ನು ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ ದೃಢ ಮಾಡಿದನು ಮತ್ತು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಗೆ ನಿತ್ಯ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಯಾಗಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--
11 ನಿನಗೆ ಕಾನಾನ್‌ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯ ಪಾಲಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
12 ಆಗ ಅವರು ಲೆಕ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವಾಗಿಯೂ ಹೌದು, ಬಹಳ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಮಂದಿಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಪರದೇಶಸ್ಥರಾ ಗಿಯೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದರು.
13 ಅವರು ಜನಾಂಗದಿಂದ ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೂ ಒಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯದಿಂದ ಬೇರೊಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ ಹೋದರು.
14 ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೇಡು ಮಾಡದಂತೆ ಆತನು ತಡೆದನು; ಹೌದು, ಅವರಿಗೋ ಸ್ಕರ ಆತನು ಅರಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಿದನು.
15 ನನ್ನ ಅಭಿಷಿಕ್ತರನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಬೇಡಿರಿ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೇಡು ಮಾಡಬೇಡಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
16 ದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರವನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿ ಆಹಾರ ವೆಂಬ ಊರುಕೋಲನ್ನು ಮುರಿದನು.
17 ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ ದಾಸನಾಗಿ ಮಾರಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಯೋಸೇಫನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
18 ಅವರು ಸಂಕೋಲೆಗಳಿಂದ ಅವನ ಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸಿದರು; ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಬೇಡಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಧಿಸಿದರು.
19 ಆತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಬರುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಮಾತು ಅವನನ್ನು ಪುಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಕಿತು.
20 ಅರಸನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿದನು; ಜನಗಳ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
21 ಅವನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಯಜಮಾನನಾಗಿಯೂ ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಸ್ತಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿಯೂ
22 ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಧಾನರನ್ನು ಮನಸ್ಸು ಬಂದ ಹಾಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟುವದಕ್ಕೂ ತನ್ನ ಜ್ಞಾನ ವನ್ನು ಆಲೋಚನಾ ಕರ್ತರಿಗೆ ಕಲಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಇಟ್ಟನು.
23 ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನು ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದನು; ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಹಾಮನ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರದೇಶಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
24 ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಮಾಡಿ ಅವರ ವೈರಿಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
25 ಆತನು ಆ ದೇಶದವರ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಮಾರ್ಪ ಡಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಆತನ ಜನರನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸಿ ಆತನ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಕುಯುಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ನಡಿಸಿದರು.
26 ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯನ್ನೂ ತಾನು ಆದು ಕೊಂಡ ಆರೋನನನ್ನೂ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
27 ಇವರು ಆತನ ಗುರುತುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹಾಮನ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವರೊಳಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು.
28 ಆತನು ಕತ್ತಲನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಲಾಗ ಮಾಡಿದನು; ಆಗ ಆತನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಅವರು ಎದು ರಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
29 ಅವರ ನೀರನ್ನು ರಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಪ ಡಿಸಿ; ವಿಾನುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಯಿಸಿದನು.
30 ಅವರ ದೇಶದಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಕಪ್ಪೆಗಳು ತುಂಬಿ ಕೊಂಡವು. ಅರಸುಗಳ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹ ಬಂದವು.
31 ಆತನು ಹೇಳಲು ನೊಣದ ಗುಂಪುಗಳೂ ಅವರ ಮೇರೆಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೇನುಗಳೂ ಬಂದವು.
32 ಅವರ ಮಳೆಗಾಗಿ ಕಲ್ಮಳೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅಗ್ನಿಜ್ವಾಲೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು.
33 ಅವರ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ಬಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನೂ ಅಂಜೂರದ ಗಿಡಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹೊಡೆದು ಮೇರೆಗಳ ಮರ ಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದನು.
34 ಆತನು ಹೇಳಲು ಮಿಡಿತೆಗಳೂ ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದ ಕಂಬಳಿ ಹುಳಗಳೂ ಬಂದವು,
35 ಅವು ಅವರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟು; ಭೂಮಿಯ ಫಲಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಂದುಬಿಟ್ಟವು.
36 ಅವರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಲವುಳ್ಳ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಮುಖರನ್ನೂ ಹೊಡೆದನು.
37 ಆತನು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿ ದನು; ಅವರ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲಹೀನನು ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
38 ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರು ಅವರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆದರಿಕೆ ಯುಳ್ಳವರಾದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಿದರು.
39 ಆತನು ನೆರಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಮೇಘ ವನ್ನೂ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಕಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನೂ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿದನು.
40 ಅವರು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಲಾವಕ್ಕಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿ, ಪರಲೋಕದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಡಿಸಿದನು.
41 ಆತನು ಬಂಡೆಯನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯಲು ನೀರು ಹೊರಟಿತು; ಅದು ಒಣಗಿದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನದಿಯಾಗಿ ಹರಿಯಿತು.
42 ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ವಾಗ್ದಾನವನ್ನೂ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನನ್ನೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡನು.
43 ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಆನಂದದಿಂದಲೂ ತಾನು ಆದುಕೊಂಡವರನ್ನು ಉತ್ಸಾ ಹದಿಂದಲೂ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು,
44 ಅವರು ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳ ಕಷ್ಟಾರ್ಜಿತವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
45 ಆತನ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಾಪಾಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆತನು ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗದ ದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ.
1 O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.
4 Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
5 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
6 O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.
7 He is the Lord our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
9 Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
10 And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:
11 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:
12 When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.
13 When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;
14 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
16 Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread.
17 He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:
18 Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
19 Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him.
20 The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.
21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:
22 To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.
23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
24 And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
25 He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
26 He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.
27 They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28 He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
29 He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
30 Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.
31 He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.
32 He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
33 He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.
34 He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number,
35 And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
36 He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.
37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
38 Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
39 He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.
40 The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
41 He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.
42 For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.
43 And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:
44 And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people;
45 That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the Lord.
1 And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
2 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.
3 Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.
4 For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.
5 And Noah did according unto all that the Lord commanded him.
6 And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.
7 And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.
8 Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,
9 There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.
10 And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.
11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
12 And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
13 In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;
14 They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.
15 And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.
16 And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in.
17 And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.
18 And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.
19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered.
20 Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.
21 And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:
22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.
23 And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.
24 And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.
