Proverbs 23:1-3 in Kannada

1 When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee:

2 And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite.

3 Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are deceitful meat.

1 ಆಳುವವನ ಸಂಗಡ ನೀನು ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕೂತಿರುವಾಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವದು ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯಿಂದ ಆಲೋಚಿಸು;

2 ನೀನು ಹೊಟ್ಟೆ ಬಾಕನಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಗೆ ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೋ.

3 ಅವನ ರುಚಿ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿ ಸಬೇಡ; ಅದು ಮೋಸದ ಆಹಾರವು.
