Proverbs 20 - YLT (Kannada)

1 Wine `is' a scorner -- strong drink `is' noisy, And any going astray in it is not wise.ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವು ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯಕರವಾಗಿದೆ; ಮಾದಕ ಮದ್ಯವು ಉದ್ರೇಕಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದ ರಿಂದ ಮೋಸಹೋದವನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಲ್ಲ.

2 The fear of a king `is' a growl as of a young lion, He who is causing him to be wroth is wronging his soul.ಅರಸನ ಭಯವು ಸಿಂಹದ ಗರ್ಜನೆಯಂತಿದೆ; ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೋಪ ವನ್ನೆಬ್ಬಿಸುವವನು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.

3 An honour to a man is cessation from strife, And every fool intermeddleth.ಕಲಹವನ್ನು ತಡೆಯುವವನು ಮಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯನು; ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನನು ತಲೆಹಾಕು ತ್ತಾನೆ.

4 Because of winter the slothful plougheth not, He asketh in harvest, and there is nothing.ಮೈಗಳ್ಳನು ಚಳಿಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಉಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದಕಾರಣ ಸುಗ್ಗಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರೂ ಏನೂ ಸಿಕ್ಕುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

5 Counsel in the heart of a man `is' deep water, And a man of understanding draweth it up.ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಹೃದಯದ ಆಲೋ ಚನೆಯು ಆಳವಾದ (ಬಾವಿಯ) ನೀರಿನಂತಿದೆ; ವಿವೇ ಕಿಯು ಅದನ್ನು ಸೇದುವನು.

6 A multitude of men proclaim each his kindness, And a man of stedfastness who doth find?ಅನೇಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊ ಬ್ಬನು ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತ ಸೌಜನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸಾರುವನು; ನಂಬಿ ಗಸ್ತನಾದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಯಾರು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಲ್ಲರು?

7 The righteous is walking habitually in his integrity, O the happiness of his sons after him!ನೀತಿವಂತನು ತನ್ನ ಯಥಾರ್ಥತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವನು ಗತಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿ ಸಲ್ಪಡುವರು.

8 A king sitting on a throne of judgment, Is scattering with his eyes all evil,ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪಿನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತಿರುವ ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಸಕಲ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವನ್ನು ಚದರಿಸುವನು.

9 Who saith, `I have purified my heart, I have been cleansed from my sin?'ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಿಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ನನ್ನ ಪಾಪದಿಂದ ನಾನು ಶುದ್ಧನು ಎಂದು ಯಾರು ಹೇಳಬಲ್ಲರು?

10 A stone and a stone, an ephah and an ephah, Even both of them `are' an abomination to Jehovah.ವಿಧ ವಿಧವಾದ ತೂಕಗಳೂ ತರತರವಾದ ಅಳತೆಗಳೂ ಇವೆರಡೂ ಸಮವಾಗಿಯೇ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯ.

11 Even by his actions a youth maketh himself known, Whether his work be pure or upright.ತನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸವು ಶುದ್ಧವೋ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನ್ಯಾಯವೋ ಎಂಬದು ತನ್ನ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ಹುಡುಗನು ತೋರ್ಪಡಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

12 A hearing ear, and a seeing eye, Jehovah hath made even both of them.ಕೇಳುವ ಕಿವಿ ನೋಡುವ ಕಣ್ಣು, ಇವೆರಡನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

13 Love not sleep, lest thou become poor, Open thine eyes -- be satisfied `with' bread.ನೀನು ಬಡ ತನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾರದಂತೆ ನಿದ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿರ ಬೇಡ; ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದರೆ ನೀನು ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಯಿಂದ ತೃಪ್ತನಾಗುವಿ.

14 `Bad, bad,' saith the buyer, And going his way then he boasteth himself.ಇದು ನಿಷ್ಪ್ರಯೋಜಕವಾದದ್ದು, ಇದು ನಿಷ್ಪ್ರಯೋಜಕವಾದದ್ದು ಎಂದು ಕೊಳ್ಳು ವವನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಅವನು ಹೋದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊಗ ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

15 Substance, gold, and a multitude of rubies, Yea, a precious vessel, `are' lips of knowledge.ಬಂಗಾರವೂ ಮಾಣಿಕ್ಯಗಳ ರಾಶಿಯೂ ಇವೆ. ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯ ತುಟಿಗಳು ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ರತ್ನ ವಾಗಿವೆ.

16 Take his garment when a stranger hath been surety, And for strangers pledge it.ಪರರ ಹೊಣೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೋ; ಪರಸ್ತ್ರೀಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅವನಿಂದ ಒತ್ತೆ ತೆಗೆ ದುಕೋ.

17 Sweet to a man `is' the bread of falsehood, And afterwards is his mouth filled `with' gravel.ಮೋಸದಿಂದ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯು ಮನು ಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ರುಚಿ; ಆಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ಬಾಯಿಯು ಮರಳಿ ನಿಂದ ತುಂಬುವದು.

18 Purposes by counsel thou dost establish, And with plans make thou war.ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಉದ್ದೇಶವು ಆಲೋಚನೆಯಿಂದ ಸಫಲವಾಗುವದು; ಹಿತವಾದ ಸಲಹೆಯಿಂದ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡು.

19 A revealer of secret counsels is the busybody, And for a deceiver `with' his lips make not thyself surety.ತಿರುಗುವ ಚಾಡಿ ಕೋರನು ಗುಟ್ಟುಗಳನ್ನು ರಟ್ಟುಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆದ ಕಾರಣ ತನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳಿಂದ ಮುಖಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡುವವನ ಗೊಡವೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಡ.

20 Whoso is vilifying his father and his mother, Extinguished is his lamp in blackness of darkness.ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನಾ ಗಲಿ ಶಪಿಸುವವನ ದೀಪವು ಮಂಕಾದ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಿಹೋಗುವದು.

21 An inheritance gotten wrongly at first, Even its latter end is not blessed.ಮೊದಲು ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ತ್ವರೆ ಯಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದಬಹುದು; ಅದರ ಕೊನೆಯು ಆಶೀ ರ್ವದಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

22 Do not say, `I recompense evil,' Wait for Jehovah, and He delivereth thee.ನೀನು--ಕೇಡಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ತೀರಿಸುವೆನು ಅನ್ನಬೇಡ; ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸು; ಆಗ ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವನು.

23 An abomination to Jehovah `are' a stone and a stone, And balances of deceit `are' not good.ವಿಧವಿಧವಾದ ತೂಕ ಗಳು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾಗಿವೆ; ಮೋಸದ ತಕ್ಕಡಿಯು ಒಳ್ಳೇದಲ್ಲ.

24 From Jehovah `are' the steps of a man, And man -- how understandeth he his way?ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ನಡೆಗಳು ಕರ್ತನಿಂದಲೇ; ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಲ್ಲನು?

25 A snare to a man `is' he hath swallowed a holy thing, And after vows to make inquiry.ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿದವನಾಗಿ ತರುವಾಯ ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆಣೆಯಿಟ್ಟು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಉರ್ಲಾ ಗಿದೆ.

26 A wise king is scattering the wicked, And turneth back on them the wheel.ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾದ ಅರಸನು ದುಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ಚದರಿಸಿ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಕ್ರವನ್ನು ಎಳೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.

27 The breath of man `is' a lamp of Jehovah, Searching all the inner parts of the heart.ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಆತ್ಮವು ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯ ಒಳಭಾಗಗಳನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸುವಂಥ ಕರ್ತನ ದೀಪವಾಗಿವೆ.

28 Kindness and truth keep a king, And he hath supported by kindness his throne.ಕರುಣೆಯೂ ಸತ್ಯವೂ ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಕಾಯುತ್ತದೆ; ಕರುಣೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ಅವನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನವು ಸ್ಥಿರಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ.

29 The beauty of young men is their strength, And the honour of old men is grey hairs.ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರ ಘನತೆಯು ಅವರ ಬಲವೇ; ಮುದುಕರ ಅಲಂಕಾರವು ನರೆತ ತಲೆಯೇ.

30 The bandages of a wound thou removest with the evil, Also the plagues of the inner parts of the heart!ನೀಲಿಯಾದ ಗಾಯವು ದುಷ್ಟ ತ್ವವನ್ನು ತೊಳೆಯುತ್ತದೆ; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಏಟುಗಳು ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯ ಒಳಭಾಗಗಳನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡುತ್ತವೆ.
