ಆಯಾ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ದೂತನು ಕೊಳ ದೊಳಗೆ ಇಳಿದುಹೋಗಿ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕದಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು; ನೀರು ಕದಲಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೊದಲು ಯಾರು ನೀರಿನೊಳಗೆ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಿಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೋ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ರೋಗವಿದ್ದರೂ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥವಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.
