1 Beginning of the glad tidings of Jesus Christ, Son of God;ದೇವಕುಮಾರನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿರುವ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವು.

2 as it is written in [Isaiah] the prophet, Behold, *I* send my messenger before thy face, who shall prepare thy way.ಪ್ರವಾದನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರಕಾರ--ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡುವ ನನ್ನ ದೂತನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಾನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

3 Voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare the way of [the] Lord, make his paths straight.ಕರ್ತನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ನೀವು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಆತನ ಹಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟಗೆಮಾಡಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಅಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಗುವ ಒಬ್ಬನ ಶಬ್ದವದೆ ಎಂಬದು.

4 There came John baptising in the wilderness, and preaching [the] baptism of repentance for remission of sins.ಯೋಹಾನನು ಅಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಪಾಪಗಳ ಪರಿ ಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮಾನಸಾಂತರದ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮವನ್ನು ಸಾರಿದನು.

5 And there went out to him all the district of Judaea, and all they of Jerusalem, and were baptised by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins.ಆಗ ಯೂದಾಯ ದೇಶವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿ ನವರೂ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಯೊರ್ದನ್‌ ನದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವನಿಂದ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡರು.

6 And John was clothed in camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins, and ate locusts and wild honey.ಯೋಹಾನನು ಒಂಟೇ ಕೂದಲಿನ ಉಡುಪನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ನಡುವಿಗೆ ಚರ್ಮದ ನಡುಕಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡವನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಮಿಡಿತೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಾಡುಜೇನನ್ನೂ ತಿನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.

7 And he preached, saying, There comes he that is mightier than I after me, the thong of whose sandals I am not fit to stoop down and unloose.ಮತ್ತು ಅವನು--ನನಗಿಂತ ಶಕ್ತನಾಗಿರುವಾತನು ನನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ; ನಾನು ಬೊಗ್ಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಆತನ ಕೆರಗಳ ಬಾರನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಯೋಗ್ಯನಲ್ಲ;

8 *I* indeed have baptised you with water, but *he* shall baptise you with [the] Holy Spirit.ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನೀರಿನಿಂದ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದ್ದು ನಿಜವೇ. ಆತನಾ ದರೋ ನಿಮಗೆ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನಿಂದ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸು ವನು ಎಂದು ಸಾರಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.

9 And it came to pass in those days [that] Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptised by John at the Jordan.ಆ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ, ಯೇಸು ಗಲಿಲಾಯದ ನಜರೇತಿನಿಂದ ಬಂದು ಯೊರ್ದನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಹಾನನಿಂದ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.

10 And straightway going up from the water, he saw the heavens parting asunder, and the Spirit, as a dove, descending upon him.ಆತನು ನೀರಿನೊಳಗಿಂದ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಆಕಾಶಗಳು ತೆರೆದಿರುವದನ್ನೂ ಆತ್ಮನು ಪಾರಿವಾಳದ ಹಾಗೆ ಆತನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಳಿದು ಬರುವದನ್ನೂ ಯೋಹಾನನು ಕಂಡನು.

11 And there came a voice out of the heavens: *Thou* art my beloved Son, in thee I have found my delight.ಆಗ--ನಾನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಪ್ರಿಯನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಮಗನು ನೀನೇ ಎಂಬ ಧ್ವನಿಯು ಪರಲೋಕ ದಿಂದ ಬಂದಿತು.

12 And immediately the Spirit drives him out into the wilderness.ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಆತ್ಮನು ಆತನನ್ನು ಅಡವಿಯೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ನಡಿಸಿದನು.

13 And he was in the wilderness forty days tempted by Satan, and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered to him.ಆತನು ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ದಿವಸ ಅಡವಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈತಾನನಿಂದ ಶೋಧಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾ ಕಾಡು ಮೃಗ ಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದನು; ಮತ್ತು ದೂತರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಉಪಚರಿಸಿದರು.

14 But after John was delivered up, Jesus came into Galilee preaching the glad tidings of the kingdom of God,ಯೋಹಾನನು ಸೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ತರು ವಾಯ ಯೇಸು ಗಲಿಲಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾರುತ್ತಾ--

15 and saying, The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God has drawn nigh; repent and believe in the glad tidings.ಕಾಲವು ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣವಾಯಿತು. ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಸವಿಾಪ ವಾಗಿದೆ; ನೀವು ಮಾನಸಾಂತರಪಟ್ಟು ಸುವಾರ್ತೆ ಯನ್ನು ನಂಬಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

16 And walking by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon, and Andrew, [Simon's] brother, casting out a net in the sea, for they were fishers.ಆತನು ಗಲಿಲಾಯ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರುಗಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಸೀಮೋನನೂ ಅವನ ಸಹೋ ದರನಾದ ಅಂದ್ರೆಯನೂ ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲೆ ಬೀಸುತ್ತಿರುವದನ್ನು ಆತನು ಕಂಡನು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಬೆಸ್ತರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

17 And Jesus said to them, Come after me, and I will make you become fishers of men;ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ; ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಬೆಸ್ತರಾಗುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.

18 and straightway leaving their trawl-nets they followed him.ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

19 And going on thence a little, he saw James the [son] of Zebedee, and John his brother, and these [were] in the ship repairing the trawl-nets;ಆತನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ಜೆಬೆದಾಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾಕೋಬನೂ ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಯೋಹಾನನೂ ದೋಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸರಿಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು.

20 and straightway he called them; and leaving their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, they went away after him.ಕೂಡಲೆ ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕರೆದನು; ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಜೆಬೆದಾಯನನ್ನು ಕೂಲಿಯಾಳುಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ದೋಣಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಆತನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋದರು.

21 And they go into Capernaum. And straightway on the sabbath he entered into the synagogue and taught.ಆಗ ಅವರು ಕಪೆರ್ನೌಮಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು; ಕೂಡಲೆ ಆತನು ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರ ದೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದನು.

22 And they were astonished at his doctrine, for he taught them as having authority, and not as the scribes.ಅವರು ಆತನ ಬೋಧನೆಗೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟರು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆತನು ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳಂತೆ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಅಧಿಕಾರವಿದ್ದವನಂತೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದನು.

23 And there was in their synagogue a man [possessed] by an unclean spirit, and he cried outಆಗ ಅವರ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿ ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಶುದ್ಧಾತ್ಮವಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿದ್ದನು.

24 saying, Eh! what have we to do with thee, Jesus, Nazarene? Art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the holy one of God.ಅವನು--ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡು; ನಜರೇತಿನ ಯೇಸುವೇ, ನಮ್ಮಗೊಡವೆ ನಿನಗೇಕೆ? ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನೀನು ಬಂದೆಯಾ? ನೀನು ಯಾರೆಂದು ನಾನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು; ನೀನು ದೇವರ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನೇ ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು.

25 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace and come out of him.ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವನನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಿ--ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರು, ಅವನೊಳ ಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಾ ಅಂದನು.

26 And the unclean spirit, having torn him, and uttered a cry with a loud voice, came out of him.ಆಗ ಅಶುದ್ಧಾತ್ಮವು ಅವನನ್ನು ಒದ್ದಾಡಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಹಾಶಬ್ದದಿಂದ ಕೂಗಿ ಅವನೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದಿತು.

27 And all were amazed, so that they questioned together among themselves, saying, What is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority he commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him.ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ--ಇದು ಏನಾಗಿರಬಹುದು? ಈ ಹೊಸ ಬೋಧನೆ ಯಾವದು? ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆತನು ಅಶುದ್ಧಾತ್ಮಗಳಿಗೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಿಂದ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಡು ತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವು ಆತನಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯವಾಗುತ್ತವಲ್ಲಾ ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ತಾವೇ ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಷ್ಟು ವಿಸ್ಮಯಗೊಂಡರು.

28 And his fame went out straightway into the whole region of Galilee around.ಕೂಡಲೆ ಆತನ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯು ಗಲಿಲಾಯದ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಬ್ಬಿತು.

29 And straightway going out of the synagogue, they came with James and John into the house of Simon and Andrew.ಅವನು ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಯಾಕೋಬ ಯೋಹಾನರ ಸಂಗಡ ಸೀಮೋನ ಅಂದ್ರೆಯರ ಮನೆಯೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದರು.

30 And the mother-in-law of Simon lay in a fever. And straightway they speak to him about her.ಆದರೆ ಸೀಮೋನನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ತಾಯಿಯು ಜ್ವರದಿಂದ ಮಲಗಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಳು; ಕೂಡಲೆ ಅವರು ಆಕೆಯ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

31 And he went up to [her] and raised her up, having taken her by the hand, and straightway the fever left her, and she served them.ಆತನು ಬಂದು ಆಕೆಯ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಎತ್ತಿದನು; ಕೂಡಲೆ ಜ್ವರವು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಯಿತು; ಆಕೆಯು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉಪಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿದಳು.

32 But evening being come, when the sun had gone down, they brought to him all that were suffering, and those possessed by demons;ಸಂಜೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಮುಣುಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವರು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯುಳ್ಳವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ದೆವ್ವ ಹಿಡಿದವರನ್ನೂ ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದರು.

33 and the whole city was gathered together at the door.ಆಗ ಪಟ್ಟಣವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಾಗಲ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಬಂದಿತು.

34 And he healed many suffering from various diseases; and he cast out many demons, and did not suffer the demons to speak because they knew him.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ವಿಧವಿಧವಾದ ರೋಗ ಗಳಿಂದ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಅನೇಕರನ್ನು ಆತನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡಿ ಬಹಳ ದೆವ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿದನು; ಮತ್ತು ದೆವ್ವಗಳು ಆತನನ್ನು ಅರಿತಿದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಗೊಡಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.

35 And rising in the morning long before day, he went out and went away into a desert place, and there prayed.ಮುಂಜಾನೆ ಹೊತ್ತು ಮೂಡುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಬಹಳ ಮುಂಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಆತನು ಎದ್ದು ಹೊರಗೆ ನಿರ್ಜನ ವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

36 And Simon and those with him went after him:ಸೀಮೋನನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದವರೂ ಆತನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋದರು.

37 and having found him, they say to him, All seek thee.ಅವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಾರೆ ಅಂದದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ

38 And he says to them, Let us go elsewhere into the neighbouring country towns, that I may preach there also, for for this purpose am I come forth.ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾವು ಮುಂದಿನ ಊರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗೋಣ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಾರಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ; ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ನಾನು ಹೊರಟು ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

39 And he was preaching in their synagogues in the whole of Galilee, and casting out demons.ಮತ್ತು ಆತನು ಗಲಿಲಾಯದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರಿ ದೆವ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿದನು.

40 And there comes to him a leper, beseeching him, and falling on his knees to him, and saying to him, If thou wilt thou canst cleanse me.ಆಗ ಒಬ್ಬ ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗಿಯು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಮೊಣಕಾಲೂರಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ -- ನಿನಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಬಲ್ಲೆ ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು.

41 But Jesus, moved with compassion, having stretched out his hand, touched him, and says to him, I will, be thou cleansed.ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಕನಿಕರಪಟ್ಟು ತನ್ನ ಕೈನೀಡಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನನಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸುಂಟು; ನೀನು ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

42 And as he spoke straightway the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.ಹೀಗೆ ಆತನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಆ ಕುಷ್ಠವು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಅವನಿಂದ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ ಅವನು ಶುದ್ಧನಾದನು.

43 And having sharply charged him, he straightway sent him away,ಆತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು;

44 and says to him, See thou say nothing to any one, but go, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing what Moses ordained, for a testimony to them.ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೂ ಏನೂ ಹೇಳಬೇಡ ನೋಡು; ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಹೋಗಿ ಯಾಜಕನಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಶುದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸು ಅಂದನು.

45 But he, having gone forth, began to proclaim [it] much, and to spread the matter abroad, so that he could no longer enter openly into the city, but was without in desert places, and they came to him from every side.ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಗೂ ಆ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಹಬ್ಬಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯೇಸು ಇನ್ನು ಬಹಿರಂಗವಾಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಲಾರದೆ ಆತನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಅಡವಿಯ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದನು; ಆಗ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಕಡೆಯಿ ಂದಲೂ ಜನರು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬ
