ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಯೋಷೀಯನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇಶಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಅಸಹ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಹಾಕಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದಿರುವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವನ ದಿವಸಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವ ರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವದನ್ನು ಬಿಡದೆ ಇದ್ದರು.

ಓ ಎಫ್ರಾಯಾಮೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ನಾನು ಏನು ಮಾಡಲಿ? ಓ ಯೆಹೂದವೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ನಾನು ಏನು ಮಾಡಲಿ? ನಿಮ್ಮ ಒಳ್ಳೇತನವು ಹೊತ್ತಾ ರೆಯ ಮೇಘದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಮುಂಜಾನೆಯ ಮಂಜಿ ನಂತೆಯೂ ಹೋಗಿಬಿಡುತ್ತದೆ.
