Numbers 21:4
ಅವರು ಹೋರ್ ಎಂಬ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಎದೋಮ್ಯರ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವ ದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೆಂಪುಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಆದರೆ ಜನರು ಮಾರ್ಗದ ಆಯಾಸ ದಿಂದ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಕುಂದಿಹೋದರು,

| of Edom: | אֱד֑וֹם | ʾĕdôm | ay-DOME |
| and the soul | וַתִּקְצַ֥ר | wattiqṣar | va-teek-TSAHR |
| people the of | נֶֽפֶשׁ | nepeš | NEH-fesh |
| was much discouraged | הָעָ֖ם | hāʿām | ha-AM |
| because of the way. | בַּדָּֽרֶךְ׃ | baddārek | ba-DA-rek |
