ಆದರೆ ಪಿಲಾತನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಅರಸನನ್ನು ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಬಿಡಿಸಬೇಕೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
