Mark 14 - YLT (Kannada)

1 And the passover and the unleavened food were after two days, and the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how, by guile, having taken hold of him, they might kill him;ಪಸ್ಕದ ಮತ್ತು ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ಹಬ್ಬ ಬರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಎರಡು ದಿವಸ ಗಳಿದ್ದಾಗ ಪ್ರಧಾನಯಾಜಕರೂ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳೂ ಉಪಾಯ ದಿಂದ ಆತನನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಹಿಡಿದು ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹವಣಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

2 and they said, `Not in the feast, lest there shall be a tumult of the people.'ಆದರೆ ಅವರು--ಜನರು ದಂಗೆ ಏಳದಂತೆ ಹಬ್ಬದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಡ ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡರು.

3 And he, being in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, at his reclining (at meat), there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment, of spikenard, very precious, and having broken the alabaster box, did pour on his head;ಬೇಥಾನ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗಿಯಾದ ಸೀಮೋನನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನು ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕೂತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಅತಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದ ಸುಗಂಧ ತೈಲದ ಭರಣಿ ಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಅದನ್ನು ಒಡೆದು ಆತನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊಯಿದಳು.

4 and there were certain much displeased within themselves, and saying, `For what hath this waste of the ointment been made?ಆದರೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕೆಲವರು ತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡು--ಈ ತೈಲವನ್ನು ನಷ್ಟ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇಕೆ?

5 for this could have been sold for more than three hundred denaries, and given to the poor;' and they were murmuring at her.ಇದನ್ನು ಮುನ್ನೂರು (ಪೆನ್ಸ್‌) ಹಣಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಬೆಲೆಗೆ ಮಾರಿ ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡ ಬಹುದಾಗಿತ್ತಲ್ಲಾ ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡು ಆಕೆಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟಿದರು.

6 And Jesus said, `Let her alone; why are ye giving her trouble? a good work she wrought on me;ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು --ಈಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಿರಿ; ಈಕೆಗೆ ನೀವು ಯಾಕೆ ತೊಂದರೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೀರಿ? ಈಕೆಯು ನನಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.

7 for the poor always ye have with you, and whenever ye may will ye are able to do them good, but me ye have not always;ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಬಡವರು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನಿಮಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಯಾವಾಗಲಾದರೂ ಉಪಕಾರ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು; ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಯಾವಾ ಗಲೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

8 what she could she did, she anticipated to anoint my body for the embalming.ಈಕೆಯು ತನ್ನಿಂದಾದಷ್ಟು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾಳೆ; ನನ್ನ ಶರೀರವನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಈಕೆಯು ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.

9 Verily I say to you, wherever this good news may be proclaimed in the whole world, what also this woman did shall be spoken of -- for a memorial of her.'ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ--ಈ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯು ಸರ್ವ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರಲ್ಪಡುವದೋ ಅಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಈಕೆಯು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಸಹ ಈಕೆಯ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುವರು ಅಂದನು.

10 And Judas the Iscariot, one of the twelve, went away unto the chief priests that he might deliver him up to them,ಆಗ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದ ಯೂದ ಇಸ್ಕರಿಯೋತನು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೆ ಹಿಡುಕೊಡುವಂತೆ ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು.

11 and having heard, they were glad, and promised to give him money, and he was seeking how, conveniently, he might deliver him up.ಅವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹಣ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇವೆಂದು ಮಾತುಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಅವನು ಆತನನ್ನು ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗಿ ಹಿಡುಕೊಡುವದು ಹೇಗೆಂದು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.

12 And the first day of the unleavened food, when they were killing the passover, his disciples say to him, `Where wilt thou, `that,' having gone, we may prepare, that thou mayest eat the passover?'ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿವಸ ಪಸ್ಕದ ಕುರಿಯನ್ನು ಅವರು ಕೊಯ್ದಾಗ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಪಸ್ಕದ ಊಟಮಾಡು ವಂತೆ ನಾವು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಬೇಕನ್ನುತ್ತೀ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.

13 And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith to them, `Go ye away to the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water, follow him;ಆಗ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ಪಟ್ಟಣದೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿರಿ; ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರಿನ ಕೊಡವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸುವನು; ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿರಿ.

14 and wherever he may go in, say ye to the master of the house -- The Teacher saith, Where is the guest-chamber, where the passover, with my disciples, I may eat?ಅವನು ಯಾವ ಮನೆ ಯೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೋ ಆ ಮನೆಯ ಯಜಮಾನ ನಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪಸ್ಕದ ಊಟ ಮಾಡಲು ಅತಿಥಿಯ ಕೊಠಡಿ ಎಲ್ಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಬೋಧ ಕನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿರಿ.

15 and he will shew you a large upper room, furnished, prepared -- there make ready for us.'ಅವನು ಸಜ್ಜು ಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದ ಮೇಲಂತಸ್ತಿನ ವಿಶಾಲವಾದ ಕೊಠಡಿಯನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ತೋರಿಸುವನು; ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

16 And his disciples went forth, and came to the city, and found as he said to them, and they made ready the passover.ಆಗ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಆತನು ತಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡು ಪಸ್ಕವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದರು.

17 And evening having come, he cometh with the twelve,ಸಂಜೆಯಾದಾಗ ಆತನು ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿ ಶಿಷ್ಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ಬಂದನು.

18 and as they are reclining, and eating, Jesus said, `Verily I say to you -- one of you, who is eating with me -- shall deliver me up.'ಅವರು ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು ಊಟಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಊಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡುಕೊಡುವನು ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

19 And they began to be sorrowful, and to say to him, one by one, `Is it I?' and another, `Is it I?'ಆಗ ಅವರು ದುಃಖಿಸ ಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಅದು ನಾನೋ? ಮತ್ತು ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬನು--ಅದು ನಾನೋ? ಎಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರು.

20 And he answering said to them, `One of the twelve who is dipping with me in the dish;ಅದಕ್ಕಾತನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಅವನು ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು, ಅಂದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅದ್ದುವವನೇ.

21 the Son of Man doth indeed go, as it hath been written concerning him, but wo to that man through whom the Son of Man is delivered up; good were it to him if that man had not been born.'ತನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಕುಮಾರನು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಆದರೆ ಯಾವನಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ಹಿಡುಕೊಡಲ್ಪಡು ತ್ತಾನೋ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಹುಟ್ಟದೆಹೋಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇದಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

22 And as they are eating, Jesus having taken bread, having blessed, brake, and gave to them, and said, `Take, eat; this is my body.'ಅವರು ಊಟಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಯೇಸು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ ಮುರಿದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು--ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ತಿನ್ನಿರಿ; ಇದು ನನ್ನ ದೇಹ ಅಂದನು.

23 And having taken the cup, having given thanks, he gave to them, and they drank of it -- all;ತರುವಾಯ ಆತನು ಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಮಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು; ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಡಿದರು.

24 and he said to them, `This is my blood of the new covenant, which for many is being poured out;ಆಗ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಇದು ಬಹು ಜನರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸುರಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವ ಹೊಸಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ತ.

25 verily I say to you, that no more may I drink of the produce of the vine till that day when I may drink it new in the reign of God.'ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾನು ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದನ್ನು ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ಆ ದಿನದ ವರೆಗೆ ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕುಡಿಯುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

26 And having sung an hymn, they went forth to the mount of the Olives,ಬಳಿಕ ಅವರು ಒಂದು ಸಂಗೀತ ಹಾಡಿ ಎಣ್ಣೇ ಮರಗಳ ಗುಡ್ಡಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದರು.

27 and Jesus saith to them -- `All ye shall be stumbled at me this night, because it hath been written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered abroad,ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಈ ರಾತ್ರಿ ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನನ್ನ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಅಭ್ಯಂತರಪಡುವಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆನಾನು ಕುರುಬನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆಯುವೆನು, ಕುರಿಗಳು ಚದರಿಸಲ್ಪ ಡುವವು ಎಂದು ಬರೆದದೆ.

28 but after my having risen I will go before you to Galilee.'ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಎದ್ದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಮಗಿಂತ ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ಗಲಿಲಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗು ವೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

29 And Peter said to him, `And if all shall be stumbled, yet not I;'ಆದರೆ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಆತ ನಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಭ್ಯಂತರಪಟ್ಟಾಗ್ಯೂ ನಾನು ಅಭ್ಯಂತರ ಪಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

30 And Jesus said to him, `Verily I say to thee, that to-day, this night, before a cock shall crow twice, thrice thou shalt deny me.'ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಈ ದಿವಸ ಈ ರಾತ್ರಿಯೇ ಎರಡು ಸಾರಿ ಹುಂಜ ಕೂಗುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ಮೂರು ಸಾರಿ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆಯುವಿ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

31 And he spake the more vehemently, `If it may be necessary for me to die with thee -- I will in nowise deny thee;' and in like manner also said they all.ಆದರೆ ಅವನು--ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಸಾಯಬೇಕಾದರೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಬಹು ಆವೇಶದಿಂದ ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಅದರಂತೆಯೇ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

32 And they come to a spot, the name of which `is' Gethsemane, and he saith to his disciples, `Sit ye here till I may pray;'ಆಗ ಅವರು ಗೆತ್ಸೇಮನೆ ಎಂಬ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡು ವಾಗ ನೀವು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡಿರ್ರಿ ಅಂದನು.

33 and he taketh Peter, and James, and John with him, and began to be amazed, and to be very heavy,ಆತನು ಪೇತ್ರ ಯಾಕೋಬ ಯೋಹಾನರನ್ನು ತನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಅತಿವಿಸ್ಮಯಗೊಂಡು ಬಹಳ ಮನಗುಂದಿದವನಾಗಿ--

34 and he saith to them, `Exceeding sorrowful is my soul -- to death; remain here, and watch.'ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಸಾಯುವಷ್ಟು ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕವಾದ ದುಃಖಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿದೆ; ನೀವು ಇಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಕಾದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗಿರ್ರಿ ಅಂದನು.

35 And having gone forward a little, he fell upon the earth, and was praying, that, if it be possible the hour may pass from him,ಆತನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗಿ ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದರೆ ಆ ಗಳಿಗೆಯು ತನ್ನಿಂದ ದಾಟಿ ಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದನು.

36 and he said, `Abba, Father; all things are possible to Thee; make this cup pass from me; but, not what I will, but what Thou.'ಆತನು --ಅಪ್ಪಾ, ತಂದೆಯೇ, ಎಲ್ಲವುಗಳು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿವೆ; ಈ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಬಿಡು; ಆದರೂ ನನ್ನ ಚಿತ್ತದಂತಲ್ಲ, ನಿನ್ನ ಚಿತ್ತದಂತೆಯೇ ಆಗಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

37 And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith to Peter, `Simon, thou dost sleep! thou wast not able to watch one hour!ತರುವಾಯ ಆತನು ಬಂದು ಅವರು ನಿದ್ರೆಮಾಡುವದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಪೇತ್ರನಿಗೆ--ಸೀಮೋನನೇ, ನೀನು ನಿದ್ರೆಮಾಡು ತ್ತೀಯಾ? ಒಂದು ಗಳಿಗೆಯಾದರೂ ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗಿ ರಲಾರೆಯಾ?

38 Watch ye and pray, that ye may not enter into temptation; the spirit indeed is forward, but the flesh weak.'ನೀವು ಶೋಧನೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗದಂತೆ ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿರಿ; ಆತ್ಮವು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ; ಆದರೆ ಶರೀರವು ಬಲಹೀನವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

39 And again having gone away, he prayed, the same word saying;ಆತನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಿ ಅದೇ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿ ದನು.

40 and having returned, he found them again sleeping, for their eyes were heavy, and they had not known what they might answer him.ಆತನು ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ತಿರಿಗಿ ನಿದ್ರೆ ಮಾಡುವದನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು; (ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಭಾರವಾಗಿದ್ದವು;) ಆತನಿಗೆ ಅವರು ಏನು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡಬೇಕೋ ತಿಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.

41 And he cometh the third time, and saith to them, `Sleep on henceforth, and rest -- it is over; the hour did come; lo, the Son of Man is delivered up to the hands of the sinful;ಆತನು ಮೂರನೆಯ ಸಾರಿ ಬಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ-- ಈಗ ನಿದ್ರೆ ಮಾಡಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ಇನ್ನು ಸಾಕು; ಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದೆ; ಇಗೋ, ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಕುಮಾರನು ಪಾಪಿಗಳ ಕೈಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಿಡುಕೊಡಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾನೆ;

42 rise, we may go, lo, he who is delivering me up hath come nigh.'ಏಳಿರಿ, ನಾವು ಹೋಗೋಣ; ಇಗೋ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡುಕೊಡುವವನು ಸವಿಾಪದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

43 And immediately -- while he is yet speaking -- cometh near Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude, with swords and sticks, from the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders;ಆತನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ಹನ್ನೆ ರಡು ಮಂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದ ಯೂದನು ಬಂದನು; ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಯಾಜಕರ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ಹಿರಿಯರ ಕಡೆ ಯಿಂದ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಜನರ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಮೂಹವು ಕತ್ತಿ ದೊಣ್ಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವನ ಕೂಡ ಬಂದರು.

44 and he who is delivering him up had given a token to them, saying, `Whomsoever I shall kiss, he it is, lay hold on him, and lead him away safely,'ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಡುಕೊಡುವವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಮುದ್ದಿಡುತ್ತೇನೋ ಅವನೇ ಆತನು; ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಭದ್ರವಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಗುರುತು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದನು.

45 and having come, immediately, having gone near him, he saith, `Rabbi, Rabbi,' and kissed him.ಅವನು ಬಂದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಆತನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ-- ಗುರುವೇ, ಗುರುವೇ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಮುದ್ದಿಟ್ಟನು.

46 And they laid on him their hands, and kept hold on him;ಆಗ ಅವರು ಆತನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈ ಹಾಕಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದರು.

47 and a certain one of those standing by, having drawn the sword, struck the servant of the chief priest, and took off his ear.ಆದರೆ ಹತ್ತಿರ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದ ವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿರಿದು ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಯಾಜಕನ ಆಳನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ಅವನ ಕಿವಿಯನ್ನು ಕಡಿದುಹಾಕಿ ದನು.

48 And Jesus answering said to them, `As against a robber ye came out, with swords and sticks, to take me!ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ-- ಕತ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ದೊಣ್ಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಕಳ್ಳನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಬರುವಂತೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಂದಿರಾ?

49 daily I was with you in the temple teaching, and ye did not lay hold on me -- but that the Writings may be fulfilled.'ನಾನು ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿನವೂ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೋಧಿ ಸುತ್ತಾ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದೆನು; ಆಗ ನೀವು ನನ್ನನು ಹಿಡಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ಬರಹಗಳು ನೆರವೇರಲೇಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು.

50 And having left him they all fled;ಆಗ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಆತನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಓಡಿಹೋದರು.

51 and a certain young man was following him, having put a linen cloth about `his' naked body, and the young men lay hold on him,ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬಾನೊಬ್ಬ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥನು ಬರೀ ಮೈಮೇಲೆ ನಾರು ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡವನಾಗಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುತ್ತಿರಲು ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದರು.

52 and he, having left the linen cloth, did flee from them naked.ಆಗ ಅವನು ಆ ನಾರುಮಡಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬರೀ ಮೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಓಡಿಹೋದನು.

53 And they led away Jesus unto the chief priest, and come together to him do all the chief priests, and the elders, and the scribes;ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಮಹಾ ಯಾಜಕನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು; ಆತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಯಾಜಕರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಹಿರಿಯರೂ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳೂ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿ ಬಂದರು.

54 and Peter afar off did follow him, to the inside of the hall of the chief priest, and he was sitting with the officers, and warming himself near the fire.ಆದರೆ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನ ಭವನದವರೆಗೂ ದೂರ ದಿಂದ ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿ ಆಳುಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಚಳಿ ಕಾಯಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳು ತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.

55 And the chief priests and all the sanhedrim were seeking against Jesus testimony -- to put him to death, and they were not finding,ಪ್ರಧಾನಯಾಜಕರೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಸಭೆಯವ ರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆತನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿ ಏನೂ ಕಂಡು ಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.

56 for many were bearing false testimony against him, and their testimonies were not alike.ಅನೇಕರು ಆತನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಸುಳ್ಳುಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಹೇಳಿದರೂ ಅವರ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯು ಒಂದ ಕ್ಕೊಂದು ಒಪ್ಪಲಿಲ್ಲ.

57 And certain having risen up, were bearing false testimony against him, saying --ತರುವಾಯ ಕೆಲವರು ಎದ್ದು ಆತನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ--

58 `We heard him saying -- I will throw down this sanctuary made with hands, and by three days, another made without hands I will build;'ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕೆಡವಿಬಿಟ್ಟು ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟದಿರುವ ಮತ್ತೊಂದನ್ನು ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಈತನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನಾವು ಕೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಅಂದರು.

59 and neither so was their testimony alike.ಹೀಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಅವರ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಒಂದಕ್ಕೊಂದು ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆಯಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.

60 And the chief priest, having risen up in the midst, questioned Jesus, saying, `Thou dost not answer anything! what do these testify against thee?'ಆಗ ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನು ಎದ್ದು ನಡುವೆ ನಿಂತು ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಏನೂ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡುವದಿ ಲ್ಲವೋ? ಇವರು ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುವ ಈ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಏನು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.

61 and he was keeping silent, and did not answer anything. Again the chief priest was questioning him, and saith to him, `Art thou the Christ -- the Son of the Blessed?'ಆದರೆ ಆತನು ಏನೂ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡದೆ ಮೌನವಾಗಿದ್ದನು; ತಿರಿಗಿ ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನು--ನೀನು ಆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನೋ? ಸ್ತುತಿಹೊಂದುವಾತನ ಕುಮಾರನೋ ಎಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು.

62 and Jesus said, `I am; and ye shall see the Son of Man sitting on the right hand of the power, and coming with the clouds, of the heaven.'ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು--ನಾನೇ, ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನ ಬಲಪಾರ್ಶ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸೀನನಾಗಿರುವದನ್ನೂ ಆಕಾಶದ ಮೇಘಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವದನ್ನೂ ನೀವು ನೋಡುವಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

63 And the chief priest, having rent his garments, saith, `What need have we yet of witnesses?ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನು ತನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಿದುಕೊಂಡು--ನಮಗೆ ಇನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಏನಿದೆ?

64 Ye heard the evil speaking, what appeareth to you?' and they all condemned him to be worthy of death,ನೀವು ಈ ದೇವದೂಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೀರಲ್ಲಾ; ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ತೋರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವನು ಮರಣದಂಡನೆ ಹೊಂದತಕ್ಕವನು ಎಂದು ತೀರ್ಪುಮಾಡಿದರು

65 and certain began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say to him, `Prophesy;' and the officers were striking him with their palms.ತರು ವಾಯ ಕೆಲವರು ಆತನ ಮೇಲೆ ಉಗುಳಿ ಆತನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಗುದ್ದುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಪ್ರವಾದನೆ ಹೇಳು ಅಂದರು. ಆಳು ಗಳು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದರು.

66 And Peter being in the hall beneath, there doth come one of the maids of the chief priest,ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಭವನದ ಕೆಳಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನ ದಾಸಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬಳು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದಳು.

67 and having seen Peter warming himself, having looked on him, she said, `And thou wast with Jesus of Nazareth!'ಪೇತ್ರನು ಚಳಿಕಾಯಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರು ವದನ್ನು ಆಕೆಯು ಕಂಡು ಅವನನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ನೋಡಿ--ನೀನು ಸಹ ಆ ನಜರೇತಿನ ಯೇಸುವಿ ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದವನು ಅಂದಳು.

68 and he denied, saying, `I have not known `him', neither do I understand what thou sayest;' and he went forth without to the porch, and a cock crew.ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆದು--ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ, ನೀನು ಏನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೀಯೋ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆದು ಹೊರಗೆ ದ್ವಾರಾಂಗಳದೊಳಗೆ ಹೋದನು; ಆಗ ಹುಂಜ ಕೂಗಿತು.

69 And the maid having seen him again, began to say to those standing near -- `This is of them;'ಆ ದಾಸಿಯು ಅವನನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ನೋಡಿ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದವರಿಗೆ--ಇವನು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದಳು.

70 and he was again denying. And after a little again, those standing near said to Peter, `Truly thou art of them, for thou also art a Galilean, and thy speech is alike;'ಆಗ ಅವನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆದನು. ತುಸು ಹೊತ್ತಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದವರು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಪೇತ್ರನಿಗೆ--ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ನೀನು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನೀನು ಗಲಿಲಾಯದವನು ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ಭಾಷೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪುತ್ತದೆ ಅಂದರು.

71 and he began to anathematize, and to swear -- `I have not known this man of whom ye speak;'ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಶಪಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಆಣೆಯಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಆರಂ ಭಿಸಿ--ನೀವು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ನಾನರಿಯೆ ಅಂದನು.

72 and a second time a cock crew, and Peter remembered the saying that Jesus said to him -- `Before a cock crow twice, thou mayest deny me thrice;' and having thought thereon -- he was weeping.ಆಗ ಎರಡನೇ ಸಾರಿ ಹುಂಜ ಕೂಗಿತು. ಹೀಗೆ--ಎರಡು ಸಾರಿ ಹುಂಜ ಕೂಗುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚಿತವಾಗಿ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮೂರು ಸಾರಿ ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆಯುವಿ ಎಂದು ಯೇಸು ತನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಪೇತ್ರನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಅದನ್ನು ಯೋಚಿಸಿ ಅತ್ತನು.
