Malachi 2
1 ಈಗ ಓ ಯಾಜಕರೇ, ಈ ಆಜ್ಞೆ ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ಅದೆ.
2 ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುವದೇ ನಂದರೆ ನೀವು ಕೇಳದೆ, ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ, ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಶಾಪವನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವೆನು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಶಪಿಸುವೆನು; ಹೌದು, ಅವು ಗಳನ್ನು ಆಗಲೇ ಶಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾಯಿತು; ನೀವು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
3 ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಖಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಸವನ್ನು ಚೆಲ್ಲುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಕಸವೆಂದು ಚೆಲ್ಲುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಆಗ ಒಬ್ಬನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಬಿಡುವನು.
4 ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಲೇವಿಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಈ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದು ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ.
5 ನನ್ನ ಜೀವದ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇತ್ತು; ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು; ಅವನು ನನಗೆ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಅಂಜಿ ಕೊಂಡನು.
6 ಸತ್ಯದ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವು ಅವನ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇತ್ತು; ಅಕ್ರಮವು ಅವನ ತುಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವನು ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದಲೂ ನ್ಯಾಯ ದಿಂದಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅನೇಕರನ್ನು ಅಕ್ರಮದಿಂದ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿದನು.
7 ಯಾಜಕನ ತುಟಿಗಳು ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು, ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣ ವನ್ನು ಅವನ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಡುಕತಕ್ಕದ್ದು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನ ಸೇವಕನೇ.
8 ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ಅನೇಕರನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಎಡವುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ಲೇವಿಯ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸಿದ್ದೀರೆಂದು ಸೈನ್ಯ ಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
9 ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ, ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಮುಖದಾಕ್ಷಿಣ್ಯ ತೋರಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಸಡ್ಡೆ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವರನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ನೀಚರನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
1 And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you.
2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
3 Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.
4 And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the Lord of hosts.
5 My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name.
6 The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.
7 For the priest’s lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts.
8 But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the Lord of hosts.
9 Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law.

1 ಈಗ ಓ ಯಾಜಕರೇ, ಈ ಆಜ್ಞೆ ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ಅದೆ.
And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you.
2 ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುವದೇ ನಂದರೆ ನೀವು ಕೇಳದೆ, ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ, ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಶಾಪವನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವೆನು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಶಪಿಸುವೆನು; ಹೌದು, ಅವು ಗಳನ್ನು ಆಗಲೇ ಶಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾಯಿತು; ನೀವು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

3 ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಖಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಸವನ್ನು ಚೆಲ್ಲುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಕಸವೆಂದು ಚೆಲ್ಲುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಆಗ ಒಬ್ಬನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಬಿಡುವನು.
Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.
4 ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಲೇವಿಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಈ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದು ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ.
And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the Lord of hosts.
5 ನನ್ನ ಜೀವದ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇತ್ತು; ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು; ಅವನು ನನಗೆ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಅಂಜಿ ಕೊಂಡನು.
My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name.
6 ಸತ್ಯದ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವು ಅವನ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇತ್ತು; ಅಕ್ರಮವು ಅವನ ತುಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವನು ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದಲೂ ನ್ಯಾಯ ದಿಂದಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅನೇಕರನ್ನು ಅಕ್ರಮದಿಂದ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿದನು.
The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.
7 ಯಾಜಕನ ತುಟಿಗಳು ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು, ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣ ವನ್ನು ಅವನ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಡುಕತಕ್ಕದ್ದು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನ ಸೇವಕನೇ.
For the priest’s lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts.
8 ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ಅನೇಕರನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಎಡವುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ಲೇವಿಯ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸಿದ್ದೀರೆಂದು ಸೈನ್ಯ ಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the Lord of hosts.
9 ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ, ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಮುಖದಾಕ್ಷಿಣ್ಯ ತೋರಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಸಡ್ಡೆ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವರನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ನೀಚರನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law.
