Luke 10 - YLT (Kannada)

1 And after these things, the Lord did appoint also other seventy, and sent them by twos before his face, to every city and place whither he himself was about to come,ಇವುಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಬೇರೆ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಸಹ ನೇಮಿಸಿ ತಾನೇ ಸ್ವತಃ ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೂ ಇಬ್ಬಿಬ್ಬರನ್ನಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.

2 then said he unto them, `The harvest indeed `is' abundant, but the workmen few; beseech ye then the Lord of the harvest, that He may put forth workmen to His harvest.ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಬೆಳೆಯು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಬಹಳ; ಆದರೆ ಕೆಲಸದವರು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ; ಆದದರಿಂದ ಬೆಳೆಯ ಯಜಮಾನನು ತನ್ನ ಬೆಳೆಗೆ ಕೆಲಸದವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ನೀವು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಮಾಡಿರಿ.

3 `Go away; lo, I send you forth as lambs in the midst of wolves;ಹೋಗಿರಿ, ಇಗೋ, ತೋಳಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

4 carry no bag, no scrip, nor sandals; and salute no one on the way;ಹವ್ಮೆಾಣಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ಚೀಲವನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ಕೆರಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಮತ್ತು ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ವಂದಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ.

5 and into whatever house ye do enter, first say, Peace to this house;ನೀವು ಯಾವ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯಾದರೂ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವಾಗ ಮೊದಲು--ಈ ಮನೆಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿರಿ.

6 and if indeed there may be there the son of peace, rest on it shall your peace; and if not so, upon you it shall turn back.ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಮಗನು ಇದ್ದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಮಾಧಾನವು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುವದು; ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರು ಗುವದು.

7 `And in that house remain, eating and drinking the things they have, for worthy `is' the workman of his hire; go not from house to house,ಅದೇ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಅವರು ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ತಿಂದು ಕುಡಿಯಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕೆಲಸದವನು ತನ್ನ ಕೂಲಿಗೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯನು. ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗ ಬೇಡಿರಿ;

8 and into whatever city ye enter, and they may receive you, eat the things set before you,ಯಾವದಾದರೂ ಪಟ್ಟಣದೊಳಗೆ ನೀವು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವಾಗ ಅವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಡುವಂಥವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಿರಿ.

9 and heal the ailing in it, and say to them, The reign of God hath come nigh to you.ಅಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರೋಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಮತ್ತು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿರಿ.

10 `And into whatever city ye do enter, and they may not receive you, having gone forth to its broad places, say,ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿ ಸುವ ಯಾವ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿಯಾದರೂ ಅವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀವು ಹೊರಟು ಅದೇ ಬೀದಿ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗಿ--

11 And the dust that hath cleaved to us, from your city, we do wipe off against you, but this know ye, that the reign of God hath come nigh to you;ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಂಟಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಧೂಳನ್ನೇ ನಿಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ನಾವು ಝಾಡಿಸಿಬಿಡುತ್ತೇವೆ; ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದೆ ಎಂಬದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಖಚಿತವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದಿರಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿರಿ.

12 and I say to you, that for Sodom in that day it shall be more tolerable than for that city.ಆದರೆ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಸೊದೋಮಿನ ಗತಿಯು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ತಾಳಬಹುದಾಗಿರುವದು ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.

13 `Wo to thee, Chorazin; wo to thee, Bethsaida; for if in Tyre and Sidon had been done the mighty works that were done in you, long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes, they had reformed;ಖೊರಾಜಿನೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ಬೇತ್ಸಾಯಿದವೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ತೂರ್‌ ಸೀದೋನ್‌ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯವರು ಬಹಳ ಕಾಲದ ಹಿಂದೆಯೇ ಗೋಣೀತಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಬೂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತು ಮಾನಸಾಂತರ ಪಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

14 but for Tyre and Sidon it shall be more tolerable in the judgment than for you.ಆದರೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ತೀರ್ಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಗತಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ತೂರ್‌ ಸೀದೋನ್‌ಗಳ ಗತಿಯು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ತಾಳಬಹು ದಾಗಿರುವದು.

15 `And thou, Capernaum, which unto the heaven wast exalted, unto hades thou shalt be brought down.ಆಕಾಶದವರೆಗೂ ಎತ್ತಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಕಪೆರ್ನೌಮೇ, ನೀನು ಕೆಳಗೆ ಪಾತಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ದೊಬ್ಬ ಲ್ಪಡುವಿ.

16 `He who is hearing you, doth hear me; and he who is putting you away, doth put me away; and he who is putting me away, doth put away Him who sent me.'ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವವನು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸುವವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸುವವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದಾತನನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.

17 And the seventy turned back with joy, saying, `Sir, and the demons are being subjected to us in thy name;'ತರುವಾಯ ಆ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೆವ್ವಗಳು ಸಹ ನಮಗೆ ಅಧೀನವಾದವು ಅಂದರು.

18 and he said to them, `I was beholding the Adversary, as lightning from the heaven having fallen;ಆಗ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಸೈತಾನನು ಮಿಂಚಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಬೀಳುವದನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೋಡಿದೆನು.

19 lo, I give to you the authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and on all the power of the enemy, and nothing by any means shall hurt you;ಇಗೋ, ಸರ್ಪಗಳನ್ನೂ ಚೇಳುಗಳನ್ನೂ ತುಳಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿರೋಧಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಯಾವದೂ ಯಾವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೇಡು ಮಾಡ ಲಾರದು.

20 but, in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subjected to you, but rejoice rather that your names were written in the heavens.'ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ದುರಾತ್ಮಗಳು ನಿಮಗೆ ಅಧೀನವಾದವೆಂದು ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರುಗಳು ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರು ವದರಿಂದಲೇ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

21 In that hour was Jesus glad in the Spirit, and said, `I do confess to thee, Father, Lord of the heaven and of the earth, that Thou didst hide these things from wise men and understanding, and didst reveal them to babes; yes, Father, because so it became good pleasure before Thee.ಆ ಗಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೇಸು ಆತ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸ ಗೊಂಡು -- ಓ ತಂದೆಯೇ, ಪರಲೋಕ, ಭೂಲೋಕ ಗಳ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ನೀನು ಈ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಗಳಿಗೂ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತರಿಗೂ ಮರೆಮಾಡಿ ಕೂಸುಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಟಮಾಡಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಹೌದು, ತಂದೆಯೇ, ಅದು ನಿನ್ನ ದೃ

22 `All things were delivered up to me by my Father, and no one doth know who the Son is, except the Father, and who the Father is, except the Son, and he to whom the Son may wish to reveal `Him'.'ಎಲ್ಲವುಗಳು ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ; ತಂದೆಯ ಹೊರತು ಯಾರೂ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಅರಿಯರು. ಮಗನೂ ತಾನು ಯಾರಿಗೆ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಮಾಡುವನೋ ಅವನೂ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಆತನನ್ನು (ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು) ಯಾರೂ ಅರಿತವರಲ್ಲ.

23 And having turned unto the disciples, he said, by themselves, `Happy the eyes that are perceiving what ye perceive;ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು--ನೀವು ನೋಡು ತ್ತಿರುವವುಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡುವ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಧನ್ಯವಾದವು ಗಳು ಎಂದು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು.

24 for I say to you, that many prophets and kings did wish to see what ye perceive, and did not see, and to hear what ye hear, and did not hear.'ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅನೇಕ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳೂ ಅರಸರೂ ನೀವು ನೋಡು ವಂಥವುಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರೂ ನೋಡಲಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ನೀವು ಕೇಳುವಂಥವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರೂ ಅವರು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

25 And lo, a certain lawyer stood up, trying him, and saying, `Teacher, what having done, life age-during shall I inherit?'ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಒಬ್ಬಾನೊಬ್ಬ ನ್ಯಾಯಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಯು ಎದ್ದು ನಿಂತು ಆತನನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ-- ಬೋಧಕನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವವನ್ನು ಬಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಏನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.

26 And he said unto him, `In the law what hath been written? how dost thou read?'ಆತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ-- ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನು ಬರೆದದೆ? ನೀನು ಹೇಗೆ ಓದುತ್ತೀ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.

27 And he answering said, `Thou shalt love the Lord thy God out of all thy heart, and out of all thy soul, and out of all thy strength, and out of all thy understanding, and thy neighbour as thyself.'ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ಣಹೃದಯ ದಿಂದಲೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ಣಪ್ರಾಣದಿಂದಲೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ಣಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ಣಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂ ದಲೂ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಬೇಕು; ನಿನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನಂತೆಯೇ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು.

28 And he said to him, `Rightly thou didst answer; this do, and thou shalt live.'ಆಗ ಆತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀ; ಅದರಂತೆಯೇ ಮಾಡು, ಆಗ ನೀನು ಬದುಕುವಿ ಅಂದನು.

29 And he, willing to declare himself righteous, said unto Jesus, `And who is my neighbour?'ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಾನೇ ನೀತಿವಂತನೆಂದು ತೋರಿಸು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷೆಯುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿ ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ--ನನ ನೆರೆಯವನು ಯಾರು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.

30 and Jesus having taken up `the word', said, `A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among robbers, and having stripped him and inflicted blows, they went away, leaving `him' half dead.ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ಒಬ್ಬಾನೊಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಿಂದ ಇಳಿದು ಯೆರಿಕೋವಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಕಳ್ಳರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬಿದ್ದನು. ಅವರು ಅವನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಗಾಯ ಪಡಿಸಿ ಅರೆಜೀವ ಮಾಡಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೊರಟುಹೋದರು.

31 `And by a coincidence a certain priest was going down in that way, and having seen him, he passed over on the opposite side;ಆಗ ಅನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಒಬ್ಬಾನೊಬ್ಬ ಯಾಜಕನು ಆ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಬಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಓರೆ ಯಾಗಿ ಹೋದನು.

32 and in like manner also, a Levite, having been about the place, having come and seen, passed over on the opposite side.ಅದೇ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬ ಲೇವಿ ಯೂ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಓರೆಯಾಗಿ ಹೋದನು.

33 `But a certain Samaritan, journeying, came along him, and having seen him, he was moved with compassion,ಆದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬಾನೊಬ್ಬ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದ ವನು ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಅವನಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು; ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕನಿಕರಪಟು

34 and having come near, he bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine, and having lifted him up on his own beast, he brought him to an inn, and was careful of him;ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸ ವನ್ನೂ ಹೊಯ್ದು ಅವನ ಗಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಪಶುವಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂಡ್ರಿಸಿ ವಸತಿ ಗೃಹಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಆರೈಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

35 and on the morrow, going forth, taking out two denaries, he gave to the innkeeper, and said to him, Be careful of him, and whatever thou mayest spend more, I, in my coming again, will give back to thee.ಮರುದಿವಸ ಅವನು ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಎರಡು ನಾಣ್ಯ ಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ವಸತಿಗೃಹದ ಯಜಮಾನನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಇವನನ್ನು ಆರೈಕೆ ಮಾಡು, ನೀನು ಏನಾ ದರೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ವೆಚ್ಚ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ನಾನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬಂದಾಗ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ತೀರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

36 `Who, then, of these three, seemeth to thee to have become neighbour of him who fell among the robbers?'ಈ ಮೂವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರು ಆ ಕಳ್ಳರ ನಡುವೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿ ಬಿದ್ದವನಿಗೆ ನೆರೆಯವ ನಾದನೆಂದು ನೀನು ಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತೀ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ

37 and he said, `He who did the kindness with him,' then Jesus said to him, `Be going on, and thou be doing in like manner.'ಅವನು-- ಯಾವನು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕನಿಕರ ತೋರಿಸಿದನೋ ಅವನೇ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಹೋಗು, ನೀನೂ ಅದರಂತೆಯೇ ಮಾಡು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

38 And it came to pass, in their going on, that he entered into a certain village, and a certain woman, by name Martha, did receive him into her house,ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಆತನು ಒಂದಾನೊಂದು ಹಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದನು; ಆಗ ಮಾರ್ಥಳೆಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಆತನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಳು.

39 and she had also a sister, called Mary, who also, having seated herself beside the feet of Jesus, was hearing the word,ಆಕೆಗೆ ಮರಿಯಳೆಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸಹೋದರಿ ಇದ್ದಳು. ಆಕೆಯು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಪಾದಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತು ಆತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು.

40 and Martha was distracted about much serving, and having stood by him, she said, `Sir, dost thou not care that my sister left me alone to serve? say then to her, that she may partake along with me.'ಆದರೆ ಮಾರ್ಥಳು ಬಹಳ ಕೆಲಸದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಬೇಸರಗೊಂಡು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರಿಯು ನನ್ನೊಬ್ಬಳನ್ನೇ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿರುವದು ನಿನಗೆ ಚಿಂತೆಯಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಆದದರಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳು ಅಂದಳು.

41 And Jesus answering said to her, `Martha, Martha, thou art anxious and disquieted about many things,ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಆಕೆಗೆ--ಮಾರ್ಥಳೇ, ಮಾರ್ಥಳೇ, ನೀನು ಅನೇಕ ವಿಷಯಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಚಿಂತಿಸಿ ತೊಂದರೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿದ್ದೀ;

42 but of one thing there is need, and Mary the good part did choose, that shall not be taken away from her.'ಆದರೆ ಅವಶ್ಯವಾದದ್ದು ಒಂದೇ; ಮರಿಯಳು ಆ ಒಳ್ಳೇಭಾಗವನ್ನೇ ಆರಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾಳೆ. ಅದು ಆಕೆಯಿಂದ ತೆಗೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
