Luke 1 - DBY (Kannada)

1 Forasmuch as many have undertaken to draw up a relation concerning the matters fully believed among us,ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನಂಬಿ ಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಟನೆಯನ್ನು ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ಬರೆಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅನೇಕರು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು

2 as those who from the beginning were eye-witnesses of and attendants on the Word have delivered them to us,ಮೊದಲಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ಕಂಡ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವಾಕ್ಯಪರಿಚಾರಕರು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊ ಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ

3 it has seemed good to *me* also, accurately acquainted from the origin with all things, to write to thee with method, most excellent Theophilus,ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮನಾದ ಥೆಯೊಫಿಲನೇ, ಮೊದಲಿ ನಿಂದಲೂ ಎಲ್ಲವುಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿ ರುವ ನಾನು ಸಹ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಬರೆಯುವದು ಒಳ್ಳೇದೆಂದು ನನಗೆ ತೋಚಿತು;

4 that thou mightest know the certainty of those things in which thou hast been instructed.ಹೀಗೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವುಗಳು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾದವುಗಳೆಂದು ಇದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ತಿಳಿಯಬಹುದು.

5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest, by name Zacharias, of the course of Abia, and his wife of the daughters of Aaron, and her name Elizabeth.ಯೂದಾಯದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹೆರೋದನ ದಿನ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಬೀಯನ ವರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಜಕರಿಯನೆಂದು ಹೆಸರಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಯಾಜಕನಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯು ಆರೋನನ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟವಳು. ಆಕೆಯ ಹೆಸರು ಎಲಿಸಬೇತ್‌.

6 And they were both just before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ನೀತಿವಂತರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

7 And they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both advanced in years.ಎಲಿಸಬೇತಳು ಬಂಜೆಯಾದದರಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕ ಳಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಬಹಳ ಪ್ರಾಯಹೋದವರಾ ಗಿದ್ದರು.

8 And it came to pass, as he fulfilled his priestly service before God in the order of his course,ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ವರ್ಗದ ಸರತಿಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಯಾಜಕನ ಉದ್ಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ

9 it fell to him by lot, according to the custom of the priesthood, to enter into the temple of the Lord to burn incense.ಯಾಜಕೋದ್ಯೋಗದ ಪದ್ಧತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಧೂಪವನ್ನು ಸುಡುವದು ಅವನ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ ಬಂತು.

10 And all the multitude of the people were praying without at the hour of incense.ಧೂಪಾರ್ಪಣೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನ ಸಮೂಹ ವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೊರಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

11 And an angel of [the] Lord appeared to him, standing on the right of the altar of incense.ಆಗ ಧೂಪ ವೇದಿಯ ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.

12 And Zacharias was troubled, seeing [him], and fear fell upon him.ಜಕರೀ ಯನು ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕಳವಳದಿಂದ ಭಯಹಿಡಿ ದವನಾದನು.

13 But the angel said to him, Fear not, Zacharias, because thy supplication has been heard, and thy wife Elizabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.ಆದರೆ ಆ ದೂತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಜಕರೀಯನೇ, ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯು ಕೇಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾದ ಎಲಿಸಬೇತಳು ನಿನಗೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೆರುವಳು. ನೀನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಯೋಹಾನನೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಬೇಕು.

14 And he shall be to thee joy and rejoicing, and many shall rejoice at his birth.ನಿನಗೆ ಆನಂದವೂ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸವೂ ಆಗುವದು; ಅನೇಕರು ಅವನ ಜನನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದಿಸುವರು.

15 For he shall be great before [the] Lord, and he shall drink no wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with [the] Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb.ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡವ ನಾಗಿದ್ದು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಮದ್ಯವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಕುಡಿ ಯುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ; ಅವನು ತಾಯಿಯ ಗರ್ಭದಿಂದಲೇ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಾತ್ಮಭರಿತನಾಗಿರುವನು.

16 And many of the sons of Israel shall he turn to [the] Lord their God.ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರನ್ನು ಅವರ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸುವನು.

17 And *he* shall go before him in [the] spirit and power of Elias, to turn hearts of fathers to children, and disobedient ones to [the] thoughts of just [men], to make ready for [the] Lord a prepared people.ಅವನು ತಂದೆಗಳ ಹೃದಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳಕಡೆಗೂ ಅವಿಧೇಯರನ್ನು ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಜ್ಞಾನಕ್ಕೂ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಜನರನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಲೀಯನ ಆತ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೂ ಬಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗುವನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

18 And Zacharias said to the angel, How shall I know this, for *I* am an old man, and my wife advanced in years?ಆಗ ಜಕರೀಯನು ಆ ದೂತನಿಗೆ--ಇದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಯಾವದರಿಂದ ತಿಳು ಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ? ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಮುದುಕನು; ನನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಾಯಗತಿಸಿದವಳು ಅಂದನು.

19 And the angel answering, said to him, *I* am Gabriel, who stand before God, and I have been sent to speak to thee, and to bring these glad tidings to thee;ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆ ದೂತನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ನಾನು ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವ ಗಬ್ರಿಯೇಲನು, ಈಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಈ ಸಂತೋಷದ ವರ್ತಮಾನವನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಕಳುಹಿಸ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

20 and behold, thou shalt be silent and not able to speak, till the day in which these things shall take place, because thou hast not believed my words, the which shall be fulfilled in their time.ಇಗೋ, ತಕ್ಕ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರವೇರುವ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ನೀನು ನಂಬದೆ ಹೋದದರಿಂದ ಈ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳು ಈಡೇರುವ ದಿನದ ವರೆಗೆ ನೀನು ಮೂಕನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಮಾತನಾಡಲಾರದೆ ಇರುವಿ ಅಂದನು.

21 And the people were awaiting Zacharias, and they wondered at his delaying in the temple.ಆಗ ಜಕರೀಯನಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಾದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಜನರು ಅವನು ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ತಡಮಾಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟರು.

22 But when he came out he could not speak to them, and they recognised that he had seen a vision in the temple. And he was making signs to them, and continued dumb.ಅವನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಲಾರದೆ ಇದ್ದನು; ಅದಕ್ಕ ವರು ಅವನು ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಕಂಡನೆಂದು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸನ್ನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಮಾತಿಲ್ಲದವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

23 And it came to pass, when the days of his service were completed, he departed to his house.ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಸೇವೆಯ ದಿನಗಳು ಮುಗಿದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದನು.

24 Now after these days, Elizabeth his wife conceived, and hid herself five months, saying,ಆ ದಿವಸಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾದ ಎಲಿಸಬೇತಳು ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯಾಗಿ ಐದು ತಿಂಗಳು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು--

25 Thus has [the] Lord done to me in [these] days in which he looked upon [me] to take away my reproach among men.ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗಿದ್ದ ಅವ ಮಾನವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಟ್ಟ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಳು.

26 But in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent of God to a city of Galilee, of which [the] name [was] Nazareth,ಆರನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗಲಿಲಾಯ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ನಜರೇತೆಂಬ ಊರಿಗೆ ದೇವರಿಂದ ಗಬ್ರಿಯೇಲನೆಂಬ ದೂತನು

27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name [was] Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name [was] Mary.ದಾವೀದನ ಮನೆತನದವನಾದ ಯೋಸೇ ಫನಿಗೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಮರಿಯಳೆಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಕನ್ಯೆಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು.

28 And the angel came in to her, and said, Hail, [thou] favoured one! the Lord [is] with thee: [blessed art *thou* amongst women].ಆ ದೂತನು ಆಕೆಗೆ--ಅಪಾರ ದಯೆ ಹೊಂದಿದವಳೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ವಂದನೆ; ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಧನ್ಯಳೇ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

29 But she, [seeing] [the angel], was troubled at his word, and reasoned in her mind what this salutation might be.ಆಕೆಯು ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಅವನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಕಳವಳಗೊಂಡು ಇದು ಎಂಥಾತರವಾದ ವಂದನೆ ಎಂದು ತನ್ನ ಮನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ

30 And the angel said to her, Fear not, Mary, for thou hast found favour with God;ಆ ದೂತನು ಆಕೆಗೆ-- ಮರಿಯಳೇ, ಹೆದರಬೇಡ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನೀನು ದೇವರ ದಯೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದೀ;

31 and behold, thou shalt conceive in the womb and bear a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus.ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯಾಗಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೆರುವಿ; ಆತನಿಗೆ ಯೇಸು ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಡಬೇಕು.

32 *He* shall be great, and shall be called Son of [the] Highest; and [the] Lord God shall give him the throne of David his father;ಆತನು ದೊಡ್ಡವನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಮಹೋನ್ನತನ ಕುಮಾರನೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವನು; ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಆತನ ತಂದೆ ಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನವನ್ನು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಕೊಡು ವನು.

33 and he shall reign over the house of Jacob for the ages, and of his kingdom there shall not be an end.ಆತನು ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಮನೆತನವನ್ನು ಸದಾ ಕಾಲವೂ ಆಳುವನು; ಆತನ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂತ್ಯವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

34 But Mary said to the angel, How shall this be, since I know not a man?ಆಗ ಮರಿಯಳು ಆ ದೂತ ನಿಗೆ--ಇದು ಹೇಗಾದೀತು? ನಾನು ಪುರುಷನನ್ನು ಅರಿತವಳಲ್ಲವಲ್ಲಾ ಅಂದಳು.

35 And the angel answering said to her, [The] Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and power of [the] Highest overshadow thee, wherefore the holy thing also which shall be born shall be called Son of God.ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆ ದೂತನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಆಕೆಗೆ--ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರುವನು, ಮಹೋನ್ನತನ ಶಕ್ತಿಯು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು; ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟುವ ಆ ಪವಿತ್ರವಾದ ಶಿಶುವು ದೇವರ ಮಗನೆಂದು ಕರೆಯ ಲ್ಪಡುವನು.

36 And behold, Elizabeth, thy kinswoman, she also has conceived a son in her old age, and this is the sixth month to her that was called barren:ಇಗೋ, ಬಂಜೆಯೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಂಧುವಾದ ಎಲಿಸಬೇತಳು ಸಹ ತನ್ನ ಮುಪ್ಪಿನ ಪ್ರಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಗರ್ಭಧರಿಸಿದ್ದಾಳೆ. ಆಕೆಗೆ ಇದು ಆರನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳು.

37 for nothing shall be impossible with God.ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಅಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದದ್ದು ಯಾವದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ದನು.

38 And Mary said, Behold the bondmaid of [the] Lord; be it to me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.ಆಗ ಮರಿಯಳು--ನೋಡು, ನಾನು ಕರ್ತನ ದಾಸಿ; ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾತಿನಂತೆ ನನಗೆ ಆಗಲಿ ಅಂದಳು; ಆ ದೂತನು ಆಕೆಯ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದನು.

39 And Mary, rising up in those days, went into the hill country with haste, to a city of Judah,ಆ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮರಿಯಳು ಎದ್ದು ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಸೀಮೆಯ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಸರದಿಂದ ಹೋಗಿ

40 and entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elizabeth.ಜಕರೀಯನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಎಲಿಸಬೇತಳನ್ನು ವಂದಿಸಿದಳು.

41 And it came to pass, as Elizabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with [the] Holy Spirit,ಎಲಿಸಬೇತಳು ಮರಿಯಳ ವಂದನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವಳ ಗರ್ಭ ದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕೂಸು ಹಾರಾಡಿತು; ಎಲಿಸಬೇತಳು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಾ ತ್ಮಭರಿತಳಾಗಿ

42 and cried out with a loud voice and said, Blessed [art] *thou* amongst women, and blessed the fruit of thy womb.ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾದ ಧ್ವನಿಯಿಂದ ಮಾತ ನಾಡಿ--ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಧನ್ಯಳೇ; ನಿನ್ನ ಗರ್ಭಫಲವು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದೇ.

43 And whence [is] this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?ನನ್ನ ಕರ್ತನ ತಾಯಿಯು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವದು ನನಗೆಲ್ಲಿಂದಾಯಿತು?

44 For behold, as the voice of thy salutation sounded in my ears, the babe leaped with joy in my womb.ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ವಂದನೆಯ ಧ್ವನಿಯು ನನ್ನ ಕಿವಿ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಕೂಸು ನನ್ನ ಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸದಿಂದ ಹಾರಾಡಿತು.

45 And blessed [is] she that has believed, for there shall be a fulfilment of the things spoken to her from [the] Lord.ಕರ್ತನಿಂದ ತನಗೆ ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವುಗಳು ನೆರವೇರುವವೆಂದು ನಂಬಿದವಳು ಧನ್ಯಳು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಳು.

46 And Mary said, My soul magnifies the Lord,ಆಗ ಮರಿಯಳು--ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಘನಪಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ;

47 and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Saviour.ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವು ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಕನಾದ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಗೊಂಡಿದೆ;

48 For he has looked upon the low estate of his bondmaid; for behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ದಾಸಿಯ ದೀನಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಇಗೋ, ಇಂದಿನಿಂದ ತಲತಲಾಂತರಗಳವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಧನ್ಯಳೆಂದು ಕರೆಯುವರು.

49 For the Mighty One has done to me great things, and holy [is] his name;ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಿಯಾದಾತನು ನನಗೆ ಮಹತ್ತಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆತನ ಹೆಸರು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದದ್ದು.

50 and his mercy [is] to generations and generations to them that fear him.ಆತನಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡು ವವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನ ಕರುಣೆಯು ತಲತಲಾಂತರ ಗಳಿಗೂ ಇರುವದು.

51 He has wrought strength with his arm; he has scattered haughty [ones] in the thought of their heart.ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಬಾಹುಬಲವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿ ಗರ್ವಿಷ್ಠರನ್ನು ಅವರ ಹೃದಯದ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಚದರಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ;

52 He has put down rulers from thrones, and exalted the lowly.ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ರನ್ನು ಅವರ ಸ್ಥಾನಗಳಿಂದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ದೊಬ್ಬಿ ದೀನರನ್ನು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಎತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

53 He has filled the hungry with good things, and sent away the rich empty.ಹಸಿದವರನ್ನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವು ಗಳಿಂದ ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಡಿಸಿ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತರನ್ನು ಬರಿದಾಗಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

54 He has helped Israel his servant, in order to remember mercy,ತನ್ನ ಕರುಣೆಯ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಾರ್ಥ ವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

55 (as he spoke to our fathers,) to Abraham and to his seed for ever.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೂ ಅಬ್ರ ಹಾಮನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಸಂತತಿಗೂ ಸದಾಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನು ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದಳು.

56 And Mary abode with her about three months, and returned to her house.ಮರಿ ಯಳು ಸುಮಾರು ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳು ಅವಳ ಜೊತೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿಹೋದಳು.

57 But the time was fulfilled for Elizabeth that she should bring forth, and she gave birth to a son.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಎಲಿಸಬೇತಳಿಗೆ ಹೆರಿಗೆಯ ಸಮಯವು ಪೂರ್ಣವಾದಾಗ ಆಕೆಯು ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಳು.

58 And her neighbours and kinsfolk heard that [the] Lord had magnified his mercy with her, and they rejoiced with her.ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಮಹಾಕರುಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಕೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಆಕೆಯ ನೆರೆಹೊರೆಯವರೂ ಬಂಧುಗಳೂ ಕೇಳಿ ಆಕೆಯ ಕೂಡ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು.

59 And it came to pass on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child, and they called it after the name of his father, Zacharias.ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರು ಎಂಟನೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಮಗುವಿಗೆ ಸುನ್ನತಿ ಮಾಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಂದು ಅವನ ತಂದೆಯ ಹೆಸರಿನಂತೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಜಕರೀಯನೆಂದು ಕರೆದರು.

60 And his mother answering said, No; but he shall be called John.ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಯು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರ ವಾಗಿ--ಹಾಗಲ್ಲ. ಅವನು ಯೋಹಾನನೆಂದು ಕರೆಯ ಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕು ಅಂದಳು.

61 And they said to her, There is no one among thy kinsfolk who is called by this name.ಅದಕ್ಕವರು ಆಕೆಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಬಂಧುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರು ಒಬ್ಬರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂದರು.

62 And they made signs to his father as to what he might wish it to be called.ಅವನು ಯಾವ ಹೆಸರಿ ನಿಂದ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವನ ತಂದೆಗೆ ಅವರು ಸನ್ನೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

63 And having asked for a writing-table, he wrote saying, John is his name. And they all wondered.ಆಗ ಅವನು ಒಂದು ಬರೆಯುವ ಹಲಗೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಅವನ ಹೆಸರು ಯೋಹಾನನು ಎಂದು ಬರೆದನು. ಆಗ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟರು.

64 And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue, and he spake, blessing God.ಕೂಡಲೆ ಅವನ ಬಾಯಿ ತೆರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಅವನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯು ಸಡಿಲವಾಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಅವನು ಮಾತ ನಾಡಿ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿದನು.

65 And fear came upon all who dwelt round about them; and in the whole hill-country of Judaea all these things were the subject of conversation.ಆಗ ಅವರ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಯೂದಾಯದ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಈ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹರಡಿದವು.

66 And all who heard them laid them up in their heart, saying, What then will this child be? And [the] Lord's hand was with him.ಕೇಳಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು--ಈ ಕೂಸೂ ಎಂಥದ್ದಾಗುವನೊ ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡರು. ಕರ್ತನ ಹಸ್ತವು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇತ್ತು.

67 And Zacharias his father was filled with [the] Holy Spirit, and prophesied, saying,ಅವನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಜಕರೀಯನು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ಭರಿತನಾಗಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸುತ್ತಾ--

68 Blessed be [the] Lord the God of Israel, because he has visited and wrought redemption for his people,ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಸ್ತುತಿ ಹೊಂದಲಿ, ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ವಿಮೋಚಿ ಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

69 and raised up a horn of deliverance for us in the house of David his servant;ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಮನೆತನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗಾಗಿ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಕೊಂಬನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ.

70 as he spoke by [the] mouth of his holy prophets, who have been since the world began;ಲೋಕಾದಿಯಿಂದ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ

71 deliverance from our enemies and out of the hand of all who hate us;ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಗೆ ಮಾಡುವವರ ಕೈಯಿಂದಲೂ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವಂತೆ

72 to fulfil mercy with our fathers and remember his holy covenant,ನಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೆ ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ ಕರುಣೆಯನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲು ತನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ತಂದು

73 [the] oath which he swore to Abraham our father,ನಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃವಾದ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ ಆಣೆಯಿಟ್ಟು ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ

74 to give us, that, saved out of the hand of our enemies, we should serve him without fearನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಭಯವಿಲ್ಲದವರಾಗಿ

75 in piety and righteousness before him all our days.ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವಮಾನದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧತೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ನೀತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಆತನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವವರಾಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿ ಸುವನು.

76 And *thou*, child, shalt be called [the] prophet of [the] Highest; for thou shalt go before the face of [the] Lord to make ready his ways;ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮಗುವೇ, ನೀನಾದರೋ ಮಹೋನ್ನತನ ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗುವಿ.

77 to give knowledge of deliverance to his people by [the] remission of their sinsಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಪಾಪಗಳ ಪರಿಹಾರದಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವನು.

78 on account of [the] bowels of mercy of our God; wherein [the] dayspring from on high has visited us,ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಮಮತೆಯ ಕರುಣೆಯಿಂದ ಅದು ಆಗುವದ ಲ್ಲದೆ ಮೇಲಣದಿಂದ ಅರುಣೋದಯವು ಉಂಟಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸಿ

79 to shine upon them who were sitting in darkness and in [the] shadow of death, to guide our feet into [the] way of peace.ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮರಣದ ನೆರಳಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೂತವರಿಗೆ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಪಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಆಗುವದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

80 -- And the child grew and was strengthened in spirit; and he was in the deserts until the day of his shewing to Israel.ಆ ಬಾಲಕನು ಬೆಳೆದು ಆತ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲಗೊಂಡನು. ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ತೋರ್ಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ದಿನದವರೆಗೆ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದನು.
