Leviticus 23:40
ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಸುಂದರ ವಾದ ಮರಗಳ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಖರ್ಜೂರ ಮರಗಳ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ದಟ್ಟವಾದ ಮರಗಳ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹಳ್ಳದ ನೀರವಂಜಿ ಮರಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳ ವರೆಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಬೇಕು.
