Leviticus 16:18
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನುಮಾಡಬೇಕು; ಹೋರಿಯ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನೂ ಆಡಿನ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಇರುವ ಕೊಂಬು ಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಚ್ಚಬೇಕು.
