Lamentations 2:9
ಅವಳ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳು ನೆಲದೊಳಗೆ ಹೂತುಕೊಂಡಿವೆ; ಆತನು ಆಕೆಯ ಅಗುಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದು ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅವಳ ಅರಸನು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಭುಗಳು ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಇರುವರು; ಇನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವು ಇರುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ; ಆಕೆಯ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು ಸಹ ಕರ್ತನಿಂದ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

| princes her and | וְשָׂרֶ֤יהָ | wĕśārêhā | veh-sa-RAY-ha |
| are among the Gentiles: | בַגּוֹיִם֙ | baggôyim | va-ɡoh-YEEM |
