Zechariah 4:2
ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ನಿದ್ರೆಯಿಂದ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವಂತೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ನನಗೆ--ನೀನು ಏನು ನೋಡುತ್ತೀ ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ--ನಾನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಇಗೋ, ಒಂದು ದೀಪಸ್ತಂಭವು, ಅದು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬಂಗಾರದ್ದೇ; ಅದರ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಪಾತ್ರೆ ಉಂಟು; ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅದರ ಏಳು ದೀಪಗಳುಂಟು.

ನನ್ನ ಬಲಗೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಕಂಡ ಏಳು ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ಏಳು ಚಿನ್ನದ ದೀಪಸ್ತಂಭಗಳ ಮರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಬರೆ. ಆ ಏಳು ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳು ಆ ಏಳು ಸಭೆಗಳ ದೂತರು; ನೀನು ಕಂಡ ಆ ಏಳು ದೀಪಸ್ತಂಭಗಳು ಆ ಏಳು ಸಭೆಗಳು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

ನೀವು ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಳಕಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಮರೆಯಾಗಿರಲಾರದು.

ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿ ಉದಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸುಗಂಧ ಧೂಪವನ್ನೂ ಸುಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮೇಜಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಇಡುವದುಂಟು; ಪ್ರತಿ ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಗಾರದ ದೀಪಸ್ಥಂಭವನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ದೀಪ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಹಚ್ಚುತ್ತಾರೆ. ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಯನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ; ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಆತನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಇಗೋ, ದೇವರು ತಾನೇ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ.

ಶುದ್ಧ ಬಂಗಾರವಾದ ದೈವೋಕ್ತಿಯ ಸ್ಥಾನದ ಮುಂದೆ ನ್ಯಾಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಹತ್ತಿರದ ದೀಪ ಸ್ತಂಭಗಳನ್ನೂ

ಅವುಗಳ ಮಾದರಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಹತ್ತು ಬಂಗಾರದ ದೀಪಸ್ತಂಭಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲಗಡೆ ಐದನ್ನೂ ಎಡಗಡೆ ಐದನ್ನೂ ಇರಿಸಿದನು.

ಬಂಗಾರದ ದೀಪಸ್ತಂಭಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕ ರವೂ ಅದರ ಬಂಗಾರದ ದೀಪಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಒಂದೊಂದು ಸ್ತಂಭಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ತೂಕಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ದೀಪಸ್ತಂಭಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದೀಪ ಸ್ತಂಭಕ್ಕೂ ಅದರ ದೀಪಗಳಿಗೂ ಒಂದೊಂದು ದೀಪ ಸ್ತಂಭದ ಕೆಲಸದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ತೂಕಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಶುದ್ಧ ಬಂಗಾರದಿಂದ ದೀಪಸ್ತಂಭವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಆ ದೀಪಸ್ತಂಭವನ್ನು ನಕ್ಷೆಯ ಕೆಲಸದಿಂದ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಅದರ ಕಂಬವೂ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳೂ ಹಣತೆ ಗಳೂ ಗುಂಡುಗಳೂ ಪುಷ್ಪಗಳೂ ಅದರಂತೆಯೇ ಇರ ಬೇಕು.
