ಹೇಗಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಎಷ್ಕೋಲೆಂಬ ತಗ್ಗಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ದೇಶದೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅಧೈರ್ಯಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
