ನೀನು ಅರಣ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಾಯಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಲೂ ಜೇನೂ ಹರಿಯುವ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದದ್ದು ನಿನಗೆ ಅಲ್ಪವಾಯಿತೋ? ಮತ್ತು ನೀನು ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಳಬೇಕೋ?

ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 16:3
ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾವು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಂಸದ ಪಾತ್ರೆ ಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು ಸಾಕಾಗುವಷ್ಟು ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಯನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಕರ್ತನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಸತ್ತುಹೋಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆದಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಾಯಿಸುವಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಈ ಅರಣ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ ಅಂದರು.
ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 2:14
ಅದಕ್ಕ ವನು--ಯಾರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರಭುವ ನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ನೇಮಿಸಿ ದ್ದಾರೆ? ಆ ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದಂತೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದೀಯೋ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು--ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂತು ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡನು.

ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಮೋಶೆಗೂ ಆರೋನ ರಿಗೂ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟಿದರು. ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾವು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಈ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತರೆ ನಮಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇದಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 17:3
ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ದಾಹಗೊಂಡು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಗುಣು ಗುಟ್ಟಿ--ನಮ್ಮನ್ನೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದನಗಳನ್ನೂ ದಾಹದಿಂದ ಕೊಲ್ಲುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯಾಕೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೊಳ ಗಿಂದ ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದಿ ಅಂದರು.

ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಬಹಳ ದಿನಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಅರಸನು ಸತ್ತನು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ದಾಸತ್ವದ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ನಿಟ್ಟುಸುರುಬಿಟ್ಟು ಕೂಗು ತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ದಾಸತ್ವದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಕೂಗು ದೇವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂತು.
ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 1:22
ಆದರೆ ಫರೋಹನು ತನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ--(ಇಬ್ರಿಯರಿಗೆ) ಹುಟ್ಟುವ ಗಂಡು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಬೇಕು. ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಜೀವದಿಂದ ಉಳಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 1:11
ಆಗ ಅವರನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಿಟ್ಟೀಕೆಲಸಗಳಿಂದ ಶ್ರಮೆಪಡಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟೀಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿಸುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನೇಮಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ಫರೋಹನಿಗೆ ಪಿತೋಮ್ ರಾಮ್ಸೇಸ್ ಎಂಬ ಉಗ್ರಾಣ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದರು.
