Nehemiah 4:2
ಈ ಬಲಹೀನರಾದ ಯೆಹೂ ದ್ಯರು ಮಾಡುವದೇನು? ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸು ವರೋ? ಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವರೋ? ಒಂದೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ತೀರಿಸುವರೋ? ಮಣ್ಣು ದಿಬ್ಬೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸುಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಉಜ್ಜೀವಿಸ ಮಾಡುವರೋ ಅಂದನು.

ಆಗ ಯೆಹೂದದವರು--ಹೊರೆ ಹೊರುವವರ ಬಲವು ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿ ಮಣ್ಣು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿದೆ; ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ನಾವು ಕಟ್ಟಲಾರೆವು ಅಂದರು.

ಆ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಹಾ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಲು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಿದರು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಯೆರೂಸ ಲೇಮಿನ ಸಂತೋಷದ ಧ್ವನಿಯು ಬಹುದೂರಕ್ಕೆ ಕೇಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.

ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಸ್ತುತಿಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಹಾಡುವದರಿಂದಲೂ ತಾಳಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ವೀಣೆಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಕಿನ್ನರಿಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಲೇವಿ ಯರನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡುವ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅವರ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಡುಕಿದರು.
