Nehemiah 13:1
1 ಅದೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ಕೇಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಪುಸ್ತಕದೊಳಗೆ ಓದುವಾಗ ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯರೂ ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರೂ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ದೇವರ ಸಭೆಗೆ ಬರಕೂಡದೆಂದು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದದ್ದು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತು.

ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯನು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯನು ಕರ್ತನ ಸಭೆಗೆ ಸೇರಬಾರದು. ಹತ್ತನೇ ತಲಾಂತರವಾದರೂ ಅವರು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಬಾರದು.
ನೆಹೆಮಿಯ 13:23
ಆ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮ್ಮೋನು ಮೋವಾಬು ಅಷ್ಡೋದು ಎಂಬ ದೇಶಗಳ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರನ್ನು ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆನು.
ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶಕಾಂಡ 31:11
ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಆತನು ಆದು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಕಾಣಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ನೀನು ಈ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣ ವನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಮುಂದೆ ಅವರು ಕೇಳುವಹಾಗೆ ಓದಬೇಕು.

ಆಗ ಅರಸನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೆರೂ ಸಲೇಮಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯಾಜಕರೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಗಳೂ ಹಿರಿಕಿರಿಯರಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು. ಅವರು ಕೇಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಪುಸ್ತಕದ ಮಾತುಗಳನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವನು ಓದಿದನು.

ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಪುರಾತನ ಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಗ್ರಂಥವನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸುವ ವರು ಇದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅದು ಪ್ರತಿ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನವೂ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾರಾಯಣವಾಗುತ್ತದಲ್ಲಾ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಗ್ರಂಥವು ಪಾರಾಯಣವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಗಳು--ಜನರೇ, ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ಜನರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳತಕ್ಕ ಬುದ್ಧಿಮಾತೇನಾದರೂ ನಿಮಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಹೇಳಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.
ಲೂಕನು 10:26
ಆತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ-- ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನು ಬರೆದದೆ? ನೀನು ಹೇಗೆ ಓದುತ್ತೀ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.

ಆತನು ತಾನು ಬೆಳೆದ ನಜರೇತಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ತನ್ನ ಪದ್ಧತಿಯಂತೆ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರ ದೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಓದುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದುನಿಂತನು.
ಆಮೋಸ 1:13
ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೂರು ಮತ್ತು ನಾಲ್ಕರ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ವಾಗಿ ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗುವ ದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವ ದಿಲ್ಲ; ತಮ್ಮ ಮೇರೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತಾರ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನ ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯರನ್ನು ಸೀಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನಗೆ ಬಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--

ಮೋವಾಬಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ಅಯ್ಯೋ ನೆಬೋ ಸೂರೆಯಾಯಿತು; ಕಿರ್ಯಾತಯಿಮು ನಾಚಿಕೆಹೊಂದಿ ಹಿಡಿಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು; ಮಿಸ್ಗಾಬ್ ನಾಚಿಕೆಹೊಂದಿ ಹೆದರಿಕೊಂಡಿತು.

ಎಜ್ರನು ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ನೀರಿನ ಬಾಗಲ ಮುಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಪುರುಷರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಗ್ರಹಿಕೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಬೆಳಗಿನಿಂದ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದ ವರೆಗೆ ಓದಿದನು. ಜನರೆ ಲ್ಲರೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಟ್ಟರು.
ನೆಹೆಮಿಯ 4:3
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯನಾದ ಟೋಬೀ ಯನು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು--ಒಂದು ನರಿಯು ಅವರು ಕಟ್ಟಿದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾರಿದರೆ ಅದು ಅವರ ಕಲ್ಲುಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿಹಾಕುವದು ಅಂದನು.
ನೆಹೆಮಿಯ 2:19
ಆದರೆ ಹೋರೋನ್ಯನಾದ ಸನ್ಬಲ್ಲಟನೂ ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯನ ದಾಸನಾದ ಟೋಬೀಯನೂ ಅರಬಿ ಯನಾದ ಗೆಷೆಮನೂ ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಗೇಲಿಮಾಡಿ ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿ--ನೀವು ಮಾಡುವ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವೇನು? ನೀವು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬೀಳುವಿರೋ ಅಂದರು.
ನೆಹೆಮಿಯ 2:10
ಹೊರೋನ್ಯನಾದ ಸನ್ಬಲ್ಲಟನೂ ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯ ನಾಗಿರುವ ದಾಸನಾದ ಟೋಬೀಯನೂ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೇಲನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಲು ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಬಂದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ವ್ಯಸನಪಟ್ಟರು.
