Luke 8:1 ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೂ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗಿ ದೇವರರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸಂತೋಷಸಮಾಚಾರವನ್ನು ಸಾರಿ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿ (ಶಿಷ್ಯರು) ಆತನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದರು.
