Luke 14:3
ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ನ್ಯಾಯಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಫರಿಸಾಯರಿಗೂ--ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡುವದು ನ್ಯಾಯವೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.

ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ --ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವದು ನ್ಯಾಯವೋ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವದು ನ್ಯಾಯವೋ? ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸುವದೋ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಕೊಲ್ಲುವದೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು; ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಸುಮ್ಮನಿದ್ದರು.

ತರು ವಾಯ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಿಮಗೆ ಒಂದು ಸಂಗತಿ ಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವದು ನ್ಯಾಯವೋ? ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದು ಮಾಡುವದೋ? ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವದೋ, ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅದನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವದೋ ಅಂದನು.
ಲೂಕನು 11:44
ಕಪಟಿಗಳಾದ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳೇ, ಫರಿಸಾಯರೇ, ನಿಮಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೊ! ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನೀವು ಕಾಣಿಸದ ಸಮಾಧಿಗಳಂತೆ ಇದ್ದೀರಿ; ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನಡೆದಾಡುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಿಯರು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

ಯೇಸು ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಪಡಿಸಿದ ಕಾರಣ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯು ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ಜನರಿಗೆ--ಆರು ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮನು ಷ್ಯರು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಬಂದು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆ ಹೊಂದಲಿ; ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಡ ಅಂದನು.

ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ವಿಾರದ ಹಾಗೆ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುನ್ನತಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ನಾನು ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಸಬ್ಬತ್ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ನೀವು ಕೋಪಗೊಳ್ಳು ತ್ತೀರೋ?
