Leviticus 15:13
ಸ್ರಾವವುಳ್ಳವನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ರಾವದಿಂದ ಶುದ್ಧನಾದರೆ ತನ್ನ ಶುದ್ಧತೆಗಾಗಿ ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಮಾಡಿ ತನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಹರಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಶರೀರವನ್ನು ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು; ಆಗ ಅವನು ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿರುವನು.

ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಹೆಣವನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದವನು ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಅಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನ ಕೆಳಗಿರುವ ಯಾವದಾದರೂ ವಸ್ತುವನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದವನು ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದ ವರೆಗೆ ಅಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿರಬೇಕು; ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವದನ್ನಾದರೂ ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ತನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾನಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದ ವರೆಗೆ ಅವನು ಅಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿರುವನು.
ಯಾಜಕಕಾಂಡ 14:10
ಎಂಟನೆಯ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ದೋಷವಿಲ್ಲದ ಎರಡು ಕುರಿಮರಿ ಗಳನ್ನು ಒಂದು ವರುಷದ ದೋಷವಿಲ್ಲದ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಕುರಿಯನ್ನು ಆಹಾರ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಹತ್ತರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರರಷ್ಟು ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಬೆರೆಸಿದ ನಯವಾದ ಹಿಟ್ಟನ್ನೂ ಒಂದು ಸೇರಿನಷ್ಟು ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

1 ಎಂಟನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ, ಮೋಶೆಯು ಆರೋನನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಕುಮಾರರನ್ನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಹಿರಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಕರೆ ದನು;
