John 2:12
ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನೂ ಆತನ ತಾಯಿಯೂ ಆತನ ಸಹೋದರರೂ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೂ ಕಪೆರ್ನೌಮಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವು ದಿವಸ ಇದ್ದರು.

ಸಹೋದರಿಯಾಗಿ ರುವ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಸಂಚರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರಂತೆಯೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಸಹೋದರ ರಂತೆಯೂ ಕೇಫನಂತೆಯೂ ನಮಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ವಿಲ್ಲವೇ?

ಪೇತ್ರ, ಯಾಕೋಬ, ಯೋಹಾನ, ಅಂದ್ರೆಯ, ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪ, ತೋಮ, ಬಾರ್ತೊಲೊಮಾಯ, ಮತ್ತಾಯ, ಅಲ್ಫಾ ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾಕೋಬ, ಜೆಲೋತನೆಂಬ ಸೀಮೋನ ಮತ್ತು ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಯೂದಾ ಇವರು (ಪಟ್ಟಣದ) ಒಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ತಾವು ಇರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮೇಲಂತಸ್ತಿನ ಕೊಠಡಿಯೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು.
ಯೋಹಾನನು 7:3
ಆದದರಿಂದ ಆತನ ಸಹೋದರರು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಮಾಡುವ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಸಹ ನೋಡುವಂತೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಯೂದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗು;

ಮರಿಯಳ ಮಗನೂ ಯಾಕೋಬ, ಯೋಸೆ ಯೂದ ಸೀಮೋನ ಇವರ ಸಹೋದರನೂ ಆದ ಈತನು ಬಡಗಿಯಲ್ಲವೇ? ಈತನ ಸಹೋದರಿ ಯರು ಇಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾರಲ್ಲವೇ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಆತನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭ್ಯಂತರಪಟ್ಟರು.
ಯೋಹಾನನು 6:17
ದೋಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ಸಮುದ್ರಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಕಪೆರ್ನೌಮಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿ ದ್ದರು. ಆಗಲೇ ಕತ್ತಲಾಗಿತ್ತು , ಯೇಸು ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಆಕಾಶದವರೆಗೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಕಪೆರ್ನೌಮೇ, ನೀನು ಕೆಳಗೆ ಪಾತಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ದೊಬ್ಬಲ್ಪಡುವಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಿನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ನಡೆದಿರುವ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ಸೊದೋಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದು ಈ ದಿನದವರೆಗೂ ಇರುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.
