ಓ ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗರೇ, ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡಿರಿ; ಗೋಧಿ, ಜವೆ ಗೋಧಿಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ತೋಟದವರೇ, ಗೋಳಾ ಡಿರಿ; ಹೊಲದ ಪೈರು ನಾಶವಾಯಿತು.

ಸಸಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಲು ಬೇಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊತ್ತಾರೆ ನೀನು ಬಿತ್ತಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಮೊಳೆ ಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವಿ. ಆದರೆ ಬೆಳೆಯನ್ನು ಕುಪ್ಪೆಯಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಸುವ ದಿನವು ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಪರೀತ ವ್ಯಥೆಯ ದಿನವೇ.
