ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ --ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿರಿ; ದುಃಖಿಸುವ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿರಿ, ಅವರು ಬರಲಿ; ಜಾಣೆಯರನ್ನು ಕರೇ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿರಿ, ಅವರು ಬರಲಿ.

ಆದದ ರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು, ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು, ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಗೋಳಾಟ ಗಳು, ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ಅಯ್ಯೋ ಅನ್ನು ವರು. ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗರನ್ನು ದುಃಖಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಪ್ರಲಾಪಿ ಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ತಿಳಿದವರನ್ನು ಗೋಳಾಟಕ್ಕೂ ಕರೆಯುವರು.
