ನೀವೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅರಸರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಧಾನರೂ ದೇಶದ ಜನರೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸುಟ್ಟಧೂಪವನ್ನೇ ಕರ್ತನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು ಅಲ್ಲವೋ? ಆತನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಬಂದದ್ದು ಅದೇ ಅಲ್ಲವೋ?

ಯೆಹೂದದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವರು ಮಾಡಿದಂಥ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗಳ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನಗಳನ್ನೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸರ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮರೆತು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀರೋ?

ಈಗ ನೀನು ಹೋಗಿ ಆ ಅಮಾಲೇಕ್ಯರನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕನಿಕರಿಸದೆ ಪುರುಷರನ್ನೂ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರನ್ನೂ ಚಿಕ್ಕವರನ್ನೂ ಮೊಲೆ ಕೂಸುಗಳನ್ನೂ ದನ ಕುರಿ ಒಂಟೆ ಕತ್ತೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕು ಎಂಬದು.
