ಏಳನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಅರಸನ ಸಂತಾನದವನೂ ಅರಸನ ಪ್ರಧಾನರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಆದಂಥ ಎಲೀಷಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ನೆತನ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಹತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯರೂ ಅಹೀಕಾ ಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗೆದಲ್ಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಮಿಚ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು; ಅವರು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿಚ್ಪದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಊಟಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ--ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಅರಸನಾದ ಬಾಲೀ ಸನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನೆತನ್ಯನ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿದದೆಯೋ? ಆದರೆ ಅಹೀಕಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗೆದಲ್ಯನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನಂಬಲಿಲ್ಲ.
