ಆಗ ಆದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಯೆಹೂ ದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನೂ ಯುದ್ಧಸ್ಥರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಅರಸನ ತೋಟದ ಮಾರ್ಗದಿಂದ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಎರಡು ಗೋಡೆಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಾಗಲಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಟರು;
