ಯೆರೆಮಿಯ 31:13
ಆಗ ಕನ್ಯಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಯೂ ಪ್ರಾಯದವರೂ ಮುದುಕರ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ನಾಟ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡುವರು, ಯಾಕಂ ದರೆ ಅವರ ದುಃಖವನ್ನು ಆನಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸು ವೆನು; ಅವರನ್ನು ಆದರಿಸಿ ದುಃಖದಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ಅವ ರಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷವನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡುವೆನು.

| and old | וּזְקֵנִ֖ים | ûzĕqēnîm | oo-zeh-kay-NEEM |
| together: | יַחְדָּ֑ו | yaḥdāw | yahk-DAHV |
| turn will I for | וְהָפַכְתִּ֨י | wĕhāpaktî | veh-ha-fahk-TEE |
| their mourning | אֶבְלָ֤ם | ʾeblām | ev-LAHM |
| into joy, | לְשָׂשׂוֹן֙ | lĕśāśôn | leh-sa-SONE |
| comfort will and | וְנִ֣חַמְתִּ֔ים | wĕniḥamtîm | veh-NEE-hahm-TEEM |
| them, and make them rejoice | וְשִׂמַּחְתִּ֖ים | wĕśimmaḥtîm | veh-see-mahk-TEEM |
| from their sorrow. | מִיגוֹנָֽם׃ | mîgônām | mee-ɡoh-NAHM |
