Jeremiah 19:6
ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ --ಇಗೋ, ದಿನಗಳು ಬರುವವು; ಆಗ ಈ ಸ್ಥಳವು ಇನ್ನು ತೋಫೆತೆಂದು, ಹಿನ್ನೋಮನ ಮಗನ ತಗ್ಗೆಂದು ಅಲ್ಲ, ಕೊಲೆಯ ತಗ್ಗೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವದು.

ಮೂಡಣ ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಪ್ರವೇಶದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿನ್ನೋಮನ ಮಗನ ತಗ್ಗಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ, ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳುವ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರಿ ಹೇಳು.

ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ --ಯಾವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಕುಂಬಾರನ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಅದು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಒಂದುಗೂಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಒಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೋ ಅದೇ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಾನು ಈ ಜನವನ್ನೂ ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ವನ್ನೂ ಒಡೆದು ಬಿಡುವೆನು; ಆಗ ಹೂಣಿಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಥಳವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ತೋಫೆತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಹೂಣಿಡುವರು.
