ಆಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು--ಹಾಗಲ್ಲ, ಈಗ ನಿನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಕೃಪೆ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದೇಯಾದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನು ದೇವರ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಕಂಡ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಕಂಡದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೂ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೂ
