Genesis 19:17
ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು--ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೋ; ನಿನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ನೋಡಬೇಡ. ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಯಾವ ಮೈದಾನದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಿಂತುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ, ನೀನು ನಾಶ ವಾಗದ ಹಾಗೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬೆಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗು ಅಂದನು.

ಆಗ ಲೋಟನು ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರು ಮದುವೆಯಾದ ಅಳಿಯಂದಿರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ--ಎದ್ದು ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಹೊರಡಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ನಾಶ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಅಳಿಯಂದಿರಿಗೆ ಅಪಹಾಸ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.
ಆದಿಕಾಂಡ 13:10
ಲೋಟನು ತನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಮೈದಾನವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೋಡಿದನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಸೊದೋಮನ್ನೂ ಗೊಮೋರ ವನ್ನೂ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಅದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಚೋಗರಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ನೀರಾವರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಕರ್ತನ ತೋಟದಂತೆಯೂ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಂತೆಯೂ ಇತ್ತು.
ಇಬ್ರಿಯರಿಗೆ 2:3
ಎಷ್ಟೋ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಈ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ನಾವು ಅಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಮಾಡಿದರೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು ಹೇಗೆ? ಇದು ಕರ್ತನಿಂದ ಮೊದಲು ಹೇಳಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿತು. ಆತನಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿದವರು ಇದನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಆದಿಕಾಂಡ 18:22
ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ಮುಖಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಸೊದೋಮಿನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹೋದರು. ಆದರೆ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು.
