Exodus 8:7
ಆದರೆ ಮಂತ್ರಗಾರರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಂತ್ರಗಳಿಂದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿ ಕಪ್ಪೆಗಳನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಯನ್ನಯಂಬ್ರ ಎಂಬ ವರು ಮೋಶೆಯನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಇವರು ಸಹ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇವರು ಬುದ್ಧಿಗೆಟ್ಟವರೂ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಮೃಗದ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಂಥಾ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಜನರನ್ನು ಮೋಸಗೊಳಿಸುವದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಗಾಯಹೊಂದಿ ಬದುಕಿದ ಮೃಗಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ವಿಗ್ರಹವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ.
