Exodus 19:13
ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಬಾರದು; ಮುಟ್ಟಿದ ಪಶುವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ನಿಶ್ಚಯ ವಾಗಿ ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆದು ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕು. ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಈಟಿಯಿಂದ ತಿವಿಯಬೇಕು. ದೀರ್ಘವಾಗಿ ತುತೂರಿಯು ಊದುವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು.

There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount.

ಮೂರನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಉದಯವಾದಾಗ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ಗುಡುಗುಗಳೂ ಮಿಂಚುಗಳೂ ಮಂದವಾದ ಮೇಘವೂ ಉಂಟಾಗಿ ಬಹು ಬಲವಾದ ತುತೂರಿಯ ಶಬ್ದವಾಯಿತು. ಪಾಳೆಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಡುಗಿ ದರು.

ತುತೂರಿಯ ಶಬ್ದವು ಬರಬರುತ್ತಾ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುತಿತ್ತು. ಮೋಶೆಯು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದಾಗ ದೇವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವರದಿಂದ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾವದಾದರೂ ಒಂದು ಎತ್ತು ಪುರುಷನನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಹಾದು ಕೊಂದರೆ ಆ ಎತ್ತನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆದು ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕು ಅದರ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು. ಆದರೆ ಎತ್ತಿನ ಯಜಮಾನನು ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಯಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.
