ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ಜನರನ್ನು ಕೆಂಪು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಮಾರ್ಗ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಯುದ್ಧಸನ್ನದ್ಧರಾಗಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೋದರು.
