ಜ್ಞಾನದಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಇನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಾನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆಯೂ ಆಕಾಶದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವ ಮಾನದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಪುತ್ರರಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದೇನೆಂದು ನೋಡುವ ತನಕ ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಹೀನತೆಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೂ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡೆನು.

ತರುವಾಯ ಅಬೀಗೈಲಳು ನಾಬಾಲನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಅರಸನ ಔತಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಾನವಾದ ಔತಣ ಅವನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು. ಅವನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಕುಡಿದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಹೃದಯವು ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸ ಗೊಂಡಿತ್ತು. ಆದಕಾರಣ ಅವಳು ಉದಯವಾಗುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾದದ್ದನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದದ್ದ ನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
ಆದಿಕಾಂಡ 47:9
ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಫರೋಹನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರವಾಸದ ದಿನಗಳು ನೂರ ಮೂವತ್ತು ವರುಷಗಳು. ನನ್ನ ಜೀವನದ ದಿನಗಳು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವಾಗಿಯೂ ದುಃಖಕರವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದವು. ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗಳು ತಾವು ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದ ಜೀವನದ ವರುಷಗಳ ದಿನಗಳಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಮುಟ್ಟಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
