Deuteronomy 4:2
ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವ ವಾಕ್ಯದ ಸಂಗಡ ಏನನ್ನೂ ಕೂಡಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಅದರಿಂದ ಏನನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆಯಬೇಡಿರಿ; ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವಂಥ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

ಈ ಪುಸ್ತಕದ ಪ್ರವಾದನಾವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಹೇಳುವ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಏನಂ ದರೆ--ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಇವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಸಿದರೆ ದೇವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಈ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಉಪ ದ್ರವಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸುವನು.
ಯೆಹೋಶುವ 1:7
ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವೆಲ್ಲಾದರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನೀನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ನಡೆ ಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಬಲವಾಗಿರು, ಬಹು ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದಿರು, ನೀನು ಹೋಗುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಫಲವಾಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು (ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು) ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬಲ ಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ಎಡಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ತಿರುಗಬೇಡ.

ಸಹೊದರರೇ, ಮನುಷ್ಯ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸಿದ ಒಂದು ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಯು ಕೇವಲ ಮನುಷ್ಯನದಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ರದ್ದು ಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚೇನೂ ಕೂಡಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
