Deuteronomy 31:28
ನಿಮ್ಮ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಿರಿಯರನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಸಿರಿ; ಆಗ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರು ಕೇಳುವಹಾಗೆ ಆಡುವೆನು; ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನೂ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೂ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗೆ ಕರೆಯುವೆನು.

ನಾನು ಜೀವವನ್ನೂ ಮರಣವನ್ನೂ, ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನೂ ಶಾಪ ವನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆಂಬದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನೂ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೂ ಈಹೊತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಕರೆಯುತ್ತೇನೆ.

ಜನರನ್ನೂ ಅಂದರೆ ಗಂಡಸರನ್ನೂ ಹೆಂಗಸರನ್ನೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಗಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪರವಾಸಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವರು ಕೇಳಿ ಕಲಿತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ಈ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾಪಾಡಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಸು.

ಆಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ಕುಮಾರರನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೂಡಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ಅಂತ್ಯದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವದನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
